Sasuke Uchiha is an incredibly powerful character in both the Naruto and Boruto series, with very few rivals. He’s grown tremendously throughout the story, reaching his full potential by the time of the Fourth Great Ninja War. However, Sasuke didn’t stop there. During a period known as the Blank Period – which isn’t shown in detail – he continued to train and master new skills. This made him an even more capable ninja, giving him the tools to face even stronger opponents with a broader range of abilities.
Lorentz Gun
Sasuke Uchiha’s Lorentz Gun is a distinctive technique he frequently uses as an adult. It works by creating an electric field between two points. Anything Sasuke launches within that field is then accelerated to speeds faster than sound. Think of it as a small, personal battlefield where Sasuke can supercharge his weapons – like shuriken or his sword. Once established, any projectile fired between these points reaches incredibly high speeds, making it difficult for even skilled ninjas to defend against.
While the Lorentz Gun might not be very effective against powerful opponents like the Otsutsuki – who are incredibly perceptive – it’s a dangerous technique against most other fighters. Combining it with Sasuke’s ability to teleport makes it even more lethal.
Shadow Clone Jutsu
The Shadow Clone Jutsu is a technique introduced early in the series and is most famously used by the main character, Naruto Uzumaki. But Naruto isn’t the only one who can create shadow clones; Sasuke Uchiha also learned to use this ability at some point. Interestingly, Sasuke doesn’t seem to have it during the Fourth Great Ninja War, suggesting he picked it up sometime afterward.
During the Boruto storyline, Sasuke unexpectedly revealed he could create a large number of Shadow Clones – over thirteen, in fact. This was surprising because he’d never used or even mentioned the technique before the war. His use of this jutsu demonstrates his high regard for Naruto Uzumaki, the Seventh Hokage. It also highlights just how skilled he’s become as an adult. It’s a bit disappointing he doesn’t use it more often, as it makes him an exceptionally dangerous ninja.

One-Handed Seals
One-Handed Seals are a rare and powerful ability in the Naruto universe, mastered by only a few ninjas. Haku was the first to demonstrate this technique early in the series, and Minato Namikaze used it during the Fourth Great Ninja War. Besides them, other ninjas have also used it, with Sasuke Uchiha becoming proficient with One-Handed Seals after the war’s conclusion.
Sasuke developed this skill after losing an arm, forcing him to adapt and perform ninja techniques with only one hand. He became exceptionally proficient at it. Most of Sasuke’s jutsu are performed using a single arm, demonstrating his incredible ninja talent.
Space Time Ninjutsu
Sasuke unlocked the Rinnegan during the Fourth Great Ninja War, but it took him time to fully learn how to use its powers. Over the years, his control improved dramatically, and he eventually gained the ability to create portals through space. These portals allowed him to travel between dimensions, which proved crucial in locating and investigating the origins of the Otsutsuki clan.
Sasuke was able to travel to all of Kaguya Otsutsuki’s worlds, and even some other unusual dimensions. He kept developing this ability, but eventually lost his Rinnegan during the Boruto storyline.
Pseudo Ice Release
Kekkei Genkai are incredibly rare abilities that people are born with – it’s almost impossible to gain one if you aren’t. While very few individuals possess these powers, and they can’t be replicated through standard techniques, Sasuke is a unique case and seems to be an exception to this rule.
After the Fourth Great Ninja War, Sasuke became skilled enough with nature transformations to mimic a Kekkei Genkai by combining Water and Wind Release. This allowed him to create a form of Ice Release, though it wasn’t as powerful as a true Ice Release Kekkei Genkai. He could efficiently combine water and wind to generate ice, making it appear as if he naturally possessed Ice Release. Because he has Six Paths Chakra, his created Ice Release is surprisingly strong – even surpassing the Ice Release abilities of some who naturally have the Kekkei Genkai.
Water Wall Formation
The Water Wall Formation is a powerful water-based technique Sasuke Uchiha learned sometime after the Fourth Great Ninja War. It allows him to create a large wall of water as a defense. He demonstrated its effectiveness during a mission to protect people after the war, using it skillfully as a barrier.
Because Naruto uses his Six Paths Chakra, this Water Wall Formation is likely the most powerful one we’ve seen in the whole series. While characters like Kakashi and Zabuza have also used this technique, it proves Naruto has learned from truly skilled opponents.
Multiple Nature Transformations Techniques
Following the Fourth Great Ninja War, Sasuke Uchiha achieved complete mastery over all elemental techniques, unlocking a vast range of abilities. Because Sasuke perfectly controls all the elements, he possesses many techniques he hasn’t demonstrated yet but is fully capable of using.
Sasuke is incredibly versatile, mastering not only Earth, Water, Lightning, and Fire techniques, but also Wind Release and even the more complex Yin and Yang abilities. This broad skillset demonstrates his exceptional talent as a ninja.
