One Piece: 7 New Devil Fruits Oda Will Reveal In Elbaf

This article contains spoilers for the One Piece series.

Devil Fruits are a key element in the story of *One Piece*. They’re the main source of power in the series, and while much about them remains a mystery, it’s clear they grant incredible abilities.

Discovering new Devil Fruits is always a highlight for fans, and it’s especially thrilling when it involves characters we’ve been waiting to see them use, like Monkey D. Dragon. The story arc set in Elbaf, particularly through the God Valley flashback, promises to show off many new and powerful abilities, giving us a glimpse into the strengths of the world’s most powerful characters.

Laffite

A Member of the Blackbeard Pirates

Laffite is an original member of Blackbeard’s crew and stands out as one of its more intriguing figures. However, many details about him are still unknown, notably his Devil Fruit ability, which hasn’t been revealed yet – a surprising omission considering the powers of all other crew members are known.

Oda likely has interesting plans for this character, and the only clue about their Devil Fruit so far is that it gives them the ability to grow wings and fly, suggesting it’s a Zoan type.

Loki

The Accursed Prince of Elbaf

Loki is a key figure in the upcoming Elbaf arc of *One Piece*. As the Accursed Prince of Elbaf, he’s shown to be incredibly strong – even requiring Shanks to step in and restrain him. Loki insists he possesses the legendary Nika Fruit, a claim fans know to be false. However, he likely has a power that’s just as formidable. Eiichiro Oda, the author, will probably reveal the full extent of Loki’s abilities after the God Valley flashback concludes.

Dragon

The Leader of the Revolutionary Army

Dragon now leads the Revolutionary Army, but he used to be a Marine stationed at God Valley. It’s unclear if he had his current abilities back then, though the author, Oda, is expected to reveal them soon. It’s possible Dragon gained his powers from one of the powerful Devil Fruits found at God Valley. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the reveal of his Devil Fruit for a long time in the *One Piece* series.

Imu

The Secret Sovereign of the World

Imu is revealed to be the hidden ruler of the One Piece world and, unexpectedly, the primary enemy on the island of Elbaf, operating through the character Gunko. Imu possesses immense power, with some of their abilities already demonstrated through Gunko. This is likely just a small glimpse of their full capabilities, and the source of these powers – specifically, what Devil Fruit they ate – remains unknown. However, most fans believe it’s a powerful Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit, comparable to the one possessed by Nika.

Garling

A New Member of the Gorosei

Garling Figarland is currently the Supreme Leader of the Holy Knights, a position he recently earned after the intense events at Egghead and the downfall of Saint Saturn. He replaced Saturn and is now one of the Gorosei. As fans know, all members of the Gorosei possess unique Yokai powers, and Garling may soon receive these powers from Imu, significantly increasing his strength.

Shamrock

The Captain of the Holy Knights

Shamrock Figarland is the twin brother of the famous pirate Shanks. He traveled to Elbaf with Gunko but had to leave quickly because of trouble starting in Marijoa. However, his story in Elbaf might not be finished, and the author, Oda, could reveal that Shamrock has a Devil Fruit power of his own. Alternatively, Oda might decide he doesn’t need one, since his sword already possesses the power of a Devil Fruit – the Cerberus Fruit – which he demonstrated in a fight against Loki on Elbaf.

Other Holy Knights

Some of the World Government’s Strongest Fighters

The story is currently focused on the flashback in God Valley, particularly the Holy Knights. While we know some of their members and what their Devil Fruits do – like Gunko with the Aro Aro no Mi, Sommers with the Iba Iba no Mi, and Killingham with the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Kirin – many others remain unknown. There are five Holy Knights present in God Valley whose names and abilities are still a mystery, and Oda may reveal them soon in future chapters.

One Piece Chapter 1161 is scheduled for release this week, as usual on Sundays. While it becomes available in Japan at midnight on Monday (JST), most fans around the world will be able to read it on September 28th.
