Fire Emblem Shadows can seem complicated when you first start playing, but it becomes easier as you learn new skills, fight battles, and recruit more allies. You’ll also need Crystals to make your allies stronger, and finding enough of them can be difficult if you don’t know where to look.
To fully upgrade each character in the game, players will need more and more green jewels as they progress through the story. This guide will show you all the ways to get these Crystals, allowing you to max out every Disciple and easily improve their skills.
How To Farm Crystals in Fire Emblem Shadows
Crystals are the in-game currency in *Fire Emblem Shadows*, shown as a green, diamond-shaped icon at the top-right of your screen. You use them to level up your Disciples, allowing them to learn stronger weapons and spells, and improve their abilities. There are five main ways to earn Crystals in the game.
- Random drop rewards after Battles.
- Completing Story Book Pages.
- Completing Battle Pass Levels.
- Receiving Rapport Rewards (increased by Battling using Disciples).
- Ranking Up with Disciples.
The only way to consistently earn Crystals is through random drops from Battle, as all other sources eventually run out. Once you reach the highest Rapport or Ranking levels, you’ll stop receiving Crystals. This also applies after completing the Battle Pass or all the Story Pages, whether you’re playing the Shadow or Light side.
How can you get more Crystals? The best way is to fight battles for either the Light or Shadow factions. Completing specific Battle Challenges – such as finding the Traitor or defeating more enemies – will give you bonus rewards, and there’s a chance those rewards will include Crystals. You can use these Crystals to make your disciples stronger.
Players may occasionally receive free Crystals from the developers, and we’re expecting new ways to earn them soon. We’ll update this guide with any new methods as they become available in the game.
