Many fans are disappointed that Sasuke Uchiha hasn’t appeared much in *Boruto: Two Blue Vortex*. As a major character and a fan favorite, even more popular than Boruto himself, his limited presence is noticeable.

As many viewers of *Boruto* know, Sasuke Uchiha has surprisingly been transformed into a tree. While it sounds strange, it’s actually happened! However, don’t worry – Sasuke won’t be gone for good. When he returns, he’s expected to be much more powerful, which will be a thrilling development for the story.

The Mangekyo Sharingan Is Sasuke’s Biggest Power Right Now

Currently, Sasuke primarily relies on his Mangekyo Sharingan. He previously possessed the incredibly powerful Rinnegan in his left eye, but lost it during the fight with Isshiki Otsutsuki. Unexpectedly, Momoshiki Otsutsuki, while possessing Boruto Uzumaki, stabbed and destroyed Sasuke’s eye, effectively ending his access to the Rinnegan and shocking fans.

Sasuke Could Gain Six Paths Powers Again

Currently, Sasuke’s strongest ability is his Mangekyo Sharingan. But as the Boruto series progresses and enemies become more powerful, Sasuke will inevitably need to unlock even greater strength. Fans anticipate he won’t remain on the sidelines for long, and it’s clear he’ll have to return as a more formidable fighter to face the growing threats.

The only way for this to happen seems to be for Sasuke to regain the Rinnegan. The author could approach this in one of two ways. First, Sasuke might recover his original Rinnegan, potentially through Eida using her all-powerful ability to undo what Momoshiki did to his eye – this is likely once she fully masters her powers. Alternatively, and more interestingly, Sasuke could obtain a completely new Rinnegan.

Sasuke’s New Rinnegan Could Be Broken

As fans of the series are aware, the Shinju still exist in the world of Boruto, and they all possess the Rinnegan due to their connection to the Ten Tails. It’s possible that Sasuke’s Rinnegan actually originates from the Ten Tails or its chakra. This would be a great way to re-establish Sasuke as a key player, allowing him to team up with Naruto and fight alongside Boruto once again.
