One Piece is now in its final arc, and the Straw Hat Pirates are considered one of the most powerful and intimidating pirate groups worldwide. Viewers know that Luffy and his crew have become incredibly strong, particularly after their key role in defeating Kaido, one of the Yonko, during the Wano arc. As a result, the Straw Hat Pirates are now recognized as a Yonko crew themselves. They haven’t stopped improving, continuously pushing beyond their previous capabilities, and with their immense potential, they are expected to grow even more powerful.

The Straw Hats aren’t currently at full strength in One Piece. As many fans are aware, there’s room for one more member, and Oda has pointed this out several times in the story. It appears that in the Elbaf arc, Oda has decided to add a powerful Devil Fruit user to the crew: the Accursed Prince of Elbaf, Loki. Luffy is hoping Loki will join the Straw Hat Pirates, and if he does, the Straw Hats would become one of the most formidable powers on the seas, potentially the strongest.

There’s a strong possibility that Loki will become the next member of the Straw Hat crew. Throughout the story, Oda often introduces characters who fans think could join the Straw Hats. For example, Carrot was a popular choice during the Zou arc, and many wanted Yamato to join in Wano. In the Egghead arc, Bonney was a leading candidate, and now, in Elbaf, Loki seems to be the latest possibility.

However, unlike the others, Loki has a significantly better chance of becoming a crew member. This is largely because Luffy really wants Loki to join his crew and become his friend. If Loki became a member of the Straw Hat Pirates, he’d significantly boost their combat strength, largely because he’s a legendary Devil Fruit User. Many fans are aware that Loki possesses a powerful Devil Fruit with a long history, originating from Elbaf and passed down through generations. The story suggests that Loki eventually consumed this fruit. While the exact details of how he ate it remain unknown, the narrative strongly implies that Loki is the current user of this legendary Devil Fruit.

Having his famous Devil Fruit ability, Loki would be a huge asset to the Straw Hat Pirates, and fans recognize this. This Devil Fruit would almost certainly make the Straw Hat Pirates more powerful than any other Yonko crew, which is incredibly thrilling. Luffy would then command three incredibly strong fighters – Zoro, Sanji, and Loki – with Loki being the most powerful of the three.

Since Luffy really wants Loki, and considering how determined he is, we can pretty much assume Loki is already practically part of the Straw Hat Pirates. Whether Luffy can convince him to officially join the crew remains to be seen.
