The Toronto Ultra, a team in the Call of Duty League, has a new look and name. They are now known as Toronto KOI, a change that highlights their partnership with the organizations KOI and Movistar, as announced by OverActive Media.
Several Call of Duty League teams are updating their brands as they prepare for the 2026 season. Recently, we’ve seen new teams like Riyadh Falcons, FaZe Vegas, and G2 Minnesota emerge during a period of significant player and team changes. The organization announced that new merchandise and jerseys featuring these updated brands will be available in December.
Introducing: Toronto KOI
In a press release, Adam Adamou, the CEO of OverActive Media, Toronto KOI’s parent company, said:

Seeing KOI launch in Toronto feels like bringing that feeling home, but on a massive, international scale. Adding this well-known brand to the Call of Duty League and Toronto will be a win for everyone involved – our fans, players, partners, and the entire esports community. We’re creating a consistent, strong brand that will grow internationally and provide long-term benefits.
This change integrates Toronto Ultra with the main OverActive ‘KOI’ brand, giving fans a stronger and more recognizable connection than simply using the name ‘Ultra’.
ROKKR recently rebranded as ‘G2 Minnesota,’ and fans anticipate Gentlemates will further establish their identity by relocating their LAG M8 team to Paris. With the highly anticipated Black Ops 7 season on the horizon, it’s a period of significant change for Call of Duty League followers.
It feels like a long time has passed since the Call of Duty League Championship ended in late June, and we still have several weeks to wait before the new season begins.
