A surprise Dragon Ball Z DLC has arrived in Minecraft, bringing iconic characters like Goku and Vegeta, along with new battle-focused game modes.
Minecraft has been getting substantial downloadable content recently, going beyond just cosmetic items to include entirely new worlds and ways to play. The September release featuring Superman let players use his powers, and the newly released Dragon Ball Z DLC is offering a similar experience.
Minecraft’s Dragon Ball Z DLC Will Let Players Enter Solo, Co-Op, or 5v5 Free For All Showdowns
The Dragon Ball Z DLC is now available for Minecraft! You can get it on the Minecraft Marketplace for 1,510 Minecoins. It adds 11 new playable characters – Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Frieza, Trunks, Krillin, Android 18, Cell, Android 17, and Majin Buu – and even includes Super Saiyan transformations for some of them. Plus, you’ll be able to explore famous locations from the Dragon Ball Z anime, like the Cell Games Arena, World Martial Arts Tournament Arena, Planet Namek, and Capsule Corp.
I’m so hyped for the Dragon Ball Z DLC in Minecraft! It’s not just about cool skins – you actually become a Z warrior. The trailer showed us you can fire Ki Blasts, but even better, each character has their own special moves! You can pull off Goku’s Kamehameha, Vegeta’s Gallick Gun, Piccolo’s Special Beam Cannon… everyone has their signature attacks and awesome visual effects. It looks like a total blast!
Players will also get two free items. The first is a ‘Become Saiyan’ skin pack, letting them play as iconic Dragon Ball characters like Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, and even Frieza in their Minecraft worlds. The second is the ‘Scouter Character Creator,’ which allows players to customize their character to look like a soldier from Frieza’s army.
