It’s Time To Welcome Naruto Uzumaki’s Perfect Successor As The Next Hokage

The new arc of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex promises exciting fights and intriguing political storylines. While fans generally prefer action, politics have always been a significant part of the Naruto universe, particularly in the original series by Kishimoto. Although Boruto hasn’t focused heavily on politics until now, recent chapters are highlighting a major problem for Konoha: the village currently lacks a recognized Hokage.

As many fans know, Naruto Uzumaki was the Seventh Hokage, but he’s currently sealed away and presumed dead. Shikamaru has been acting as interim Hokage, but hasn’t officially taken the position. With concerns arising about Shikamaru’s loyalty, a new Hokage may be chosen soon, and Konohamaru Sarutobi is widely seen as the ideal successor to Naruto. While Konohamaru hasn’t always impressed in the Boruto series, a few strong performances will remind everyone that he’s Naruto’s dedicated student and has always aimed to become Hokage himself.

Konoha Could Get A New Hokage To Succeed Naruto Uzumaki

The last chapter of Boruto showed Konohamaru Sarutobi facing tough questions from the village leaders and Daimyo. They were concerned about his work with Boruto Uzumaki, whom they see as a major danger. However, they currently suspect Shikamaru Nara even more.

Honestly, as a huge Boruto fan, it’s just heartbreaking to see what the Konoha Elders have done. They’ve basically declared that anyone who even tries to help Boruto is automatically an enemy of the village – a total traitor! It’s a really harsh stance and feels incredibly unfair, especially considering everything Boruto is going through. It’s created such a tense atmosphere, and I’m really worried about who will be brave enough to stand by him now.

Since Shikamaru never became Hokage and his recent actions could even land him in prison, Konoha will need a new leader soon. Currently, Konohamaru Sarutobi is the most likely candidate to take on that role.

Konohamaru is already a highly skilled and experienced Jonin, one of the best the village has seen. In fact, the creator of the series, Kishimoto, planned long ago for Konohamaru to eventually become Hokage. Although Sarada is destined for the role, she’s not ready to lead yet. The village needs someone with significant experience now, and Konohamaru is the most suitable Jonin for the job.

Konohamaru Needs Bigger Moments Of Shine Soon

Promoting Konohamaru to Jonin isn’t without its drawbacks. Currently, he lacks the strength and experience to be a truly respected Hokage, and his performance so far hasn’t been particularly impressive. However, he is stronger than Shikamaru, and he has the potential to become much more powerful. If Konohamaru continues to develop his abilities, he could certainly become a worthy Hokage in the future.

It’s easy to forget, but Konohamaru dreamed of becoming Hokage from a very young age. He greatly admires Naruto and wants to make everyone proud. Becoming Hokage would be his chance to truly shine, prove his capabilities, and lead by example.

Sarada Will Take Over After Konohamaru

I have a strong feeling that Sarada Uchiha is destined to become Hokage in the Boruto series. She’s still quite young and needs time to develop, but I think as the series progresses, she’ll absolutely achieve that goal. It would be historic – she’d be the first Uchiha to ever hold the position in Konoha! Right now, she’s just focused on getting stronger and gaining more experience, which makes sense given her age.
