Traditionally, Naruto and Sasuke are equals, so it’s expected that Naruto will also gain new strength when he returns. One possibility is that he’ll unlock a new inner demon, Jura. Jura is the largest and most powerful of the Shinju, and defeating him is crucial for humanity’s survival. However, Jura doesn’t necessarily need to be completely destroyed, making him a strong candidate to become Naruto’s next Inner Demon in the Boruto series.

Naruto’s Next Power Up Could Make Jura His Inner Demon

The Naruto series frequently explores the idea of ‘inner demons.’ It started with Naruto Uzumaki and the Nine-Tailed Fox, Kurama, who eventually became a powerful ally. This theme continued with other characters who housed similar powerful entities, and it remains a key part of the story even in the sequel series, Boruto. Now, Boruto Uzumaki has his own inner demon, Momoshiki Otsutsuki, and recently, Naruto’s daughter, Himawari Uzumaki, has also gained one – Kurama himself.

Despite this, Jura is effectively immortal – his ability to recover and his link to the God Tree make him incredibly resilient. On top of that, Jura is actually the embodiment of a Tailed Beast.

Unlike the other Shinju, who possess a Thorn Soul Bulb because they’re created from another’s chakra, Jura is unique. He wasn’t born from a parent body; he is the Ten Tails itself. This means Jura can’t truly be killed – he’ll always regenerate – so a lasting solution to deal with him is necessary.

Naruto Needs A Kurama Replacement Immediately

Jura can’t be truly defeated, so he needs to be contained. At the same time, Naruto Uzumaki is looking for a new power source after losing Kurama. Jura is fascinated by Naruto, and his search for understanding love might bring them together. If they connect, Naruto is the only one who could teach Jura about love and create a real relationship with him. This could lead Jura to willingly stay with Naruto, becoming his new inner power, similar to Kurama.
