PUBG is launching a new game called Black Budget, which is a ‘shooter’ where you try to escape with loot. Players will get their first chance to try it out next month in a limited, closed Alpha test.
PUBG: Black Budget builds on the success of the popular PUBG Battle Royale by offering a new experience focused on ‘FPP’ (first-person perspective) and joining the growing trend of ‘extraction shooter‘ games.
PUBG: Black Budget Closed Alpha Sign-Ups Open

The game was revealed today, and a closed alpha test will begin next month. Sign-ups are open now, and participants won’t be under a non-disclosure agreement, meaning they’re free to share their experiences.
The first weekend of the closed alpha will start at 1 AM Pacific Time on Friday, December 12th, and end at 11:59 PM Pacific Time on Sunday, December 14th. A second weekend of testing will follow a week later.
While the initial opportunity is limited to players in North America, Europe, and Asia, those who participate won’t be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement. This means they’re free to share screenshots, videos, streams, and openly discuss their experiences with the game.
This first test focuses on the beginning of the game, including how combat flows, how players collect items, and how they improve their characters. Because the game is still being developed, players can expect some technical problems.
Okay, so the sign-ups for the closed alpha are live on Steam right now! But here’s the cool part – once the first weekend of testing kicks off, you’ll also be able to snag a key just by watching streams on Twitch and Chzzk. Basically, watch and earn your way in!
So, PUBG is jumping on the extraction shooter bandwagon! It seems like everyone’s trying this out after seeing how well games like Arc Raiders did. I even heard Call of Duty is adding an extraction mode to their next game, which is pretty cool. It’s definitely becoming a popular thing!

I just checked out some cool gaming news! Apparently, some familiar faces are coming back in the next Resident Evil, called Requiem, and there’s a breakdown of how people are planning to mod Hytale – it’s pretty involved!
