9 Biggest PC Games Coming in 2026

2026 promises to be a huge year for gaming. While PC gamers won’t be able to play titles like Grand Theft Auto 6 and Marvel’s Wolverine just yet, there are still plenty of other exciting games coming out.

The PC platform is thriving because it offers the best of all gaming worlds. Not only does it have games you can’t find anywhere else, but it also gets many of the biggest releases from Xbox and PlayStation consoles, and this will continue to be true in 2026.

2026 is shaping up to be a huge year for gaming, with many exciting titles already announced and even more on the way. TopMob has compiled a list of the most anticipated PC games that players won’t want to miss.

Biggest PC Games Coming in 2026

Resident Evil Requiem

With a release date of February 27th, Resident Evil Requiem is the next big installment in the popular horror franchise. It’s been five years since Resident Evil Village and three years since the Resident Evil 4 remake, and this new title is expected to be one of the year’s biggest game releases.

A big reason people are excited about the new game is the return of Leon S. Kennedy. Players will also be able to choose between playing in first-person and third-person perspectives. With the previous game, Village, being so popular, expectations are very high for this release.

007 First Light

It’s been a long time since a really excellent James Bond video game came out – surprising, given how popular the Bond films are. But the upcoming game, 007 First Light, releasing on March 26th, might finally break that streak, and excitement is building.

IO Interactive, the studio behind the Hitman series, is developing the game, which is a great sign. Their experience makes us confident it will be excellent, and there’s a lot to look forward to.

Hytale

2025 has been quite a year for Hytale fans! The game was initially canceled by Riot Games, but it’s now back in the hands of its original developers. It’s scheduled to launch in early access on January 13th, making it one of the first major game releases of the new year.

Hytale will launch first on PC. Players already know it’s an early access game and will be continuously updated before a final release, but it has the potential to be a hugely impactful game, much like Minecraft was when it first came out in 2009.

Forza Horizon 6

In 2026, Forza Horizon 5 will celebrate its fifth anniversary and remains a top racing game. Fans are especially excited for the upcoming sixth installment, which is expected to be the biggest yet, as it will finally be set in Japan – a location the community has requested for years.

Forza Horizon 6 will be available on PC the same day it releases on Xbox Series X|S. It’s expected to be a fantastic game, potentially becoming the best racing game for years to come, making it a must-play for fans.

Fable

Playground Games is gearing up for a huge year, with both the release of Forza Horizon 6 and the return of the Fable series. Fable was originally planned for 2025, but has been pushed back to sometime in 2026, though an exact release date hasn’t been announced yet.

Okay, so there’s a lot of pressure on Fable, honestly. Microsoft really needs a big hit, especially since some of their recent exclusive games haven’t done as well as PlayStation’s. But I’m feeling good about this one! Fable has a huge fanbase, and we’ve been waiting ages for a new game. Plus, the fact that it’s coming to PC is awesome – that’s going to bring in even more players. I’m hoping it really delivers and gets everyone hyped!

Gears of War: E-Day

The Gears of War series hasn’t resonated with players as well lately, so the creators are revisiting the franchise’s roots with Gears of War: E-Day. This new installment is a prequel, taking place 15 years before the original game’s story.

The PC version of E-Day will be available at the same time as the Xbox version, which is great news for PC players. This time, PlayStation 5 players can also join in the fun, as the game recently became available on Sony consoles in 2025.

Slay The Spire 2

Slay The Spire is considered a classic indie game, and its upcoming sequel, planned for release in March 2026, is generating a lot of excitement.

Slay The Spire 2 is launching first as an early access game on PC. This lets players help shape the game’s development and ensure it lives up to the original.

Star Wars Zero Company

2026 is shaping up to be a huge year for Star Wars, with several new projects planned. One of the most anticipated is ‘Star Wars Zero Company,’ largely because it doesn’t face much competition in its specific genre, and it’s being developed by a very experienced team.

Okay, so I’m really excited about Zero Company. The team making it – Bit Reactor – is full of people who worked on XCOM and other big strategy games from Firaxis. That instantly got my attention! Plus, it’s set in the Star Wars universe, which is awesome. I think it’s got a really good chance of being a huge hit when it comes out in 2026, drawing in both Star Wars fans who are new to strategy games and us hardcore strategy players.

Crimson Desert

Crimson Desert started as a prequel to the game Black Desert Online, but it evolved into a separate, single-player experience. It’s currently scheduled to launch on March 19, 2026, and is one of the most eagerly awaited games of that year.

From what we’ve seen, this open-world game looks amazing. It boasts a beautiful and imaginative world, a wide range of weapons, and plenty of hidden secrets, making it a game that players could easily spend countless hours enjoying.
