Fans are still eagerly awaiting news on The Elder Scrolls 6, but there’s more positive news about another Elder Scrolls project. Although the recent Starfield update and its release on PlayStation 5 are major events for Bethesda, fans are especially excited about Skyblivion. This fan-made project aims to recreate Oblivion using the engine from Skyrim, and it’s generating a lot of buzz.

I was watching the latest Skyblivion stream, and the project lead, Rebel, said things are going really well! They’re focusing on fixing bugs right now, and they want to get the mod out “as soon as possible.” Rock Paper Shotgun reported on it, and while it’s not a firm release date, it sounds like they’re still aiming for that 2026 timeframe after the recent delay. It’s good to hear things are progressing, even if we have to wait a little longer!
