Nerona Imu is the hidden ruler of the One Piece world, and he recently showed his true form and powers in Elbaf. He’s incredibly powerful, mastering Haki and possessing a Devil Fruit that lets him use abilities like Domi Reversi, Covenants, and Maki. Based on what we’ve seen, Imu is stronger than anyone else in the One Piece world, easily defeating most opponents without even trying.
9. Sanji
Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji are incredibly strong fighters for the Straw Hat Pirates. While Sanji is the crew’s cook, he’s also a top-tier combatant – he proved this by defeating Queen in Wano with minimal injuries and recently destroying one of Kizaru’s lasers on Egghead. Although beating Queen was a significant feat, Sanji is still far below the power level of someone like Imu, the King of the World. Imu demonstrated his overwhelming strength in Chapter 1180 by effortlessly launching Sanji across the battlefield with a single kick. Aside from Luffy, none of the Straw Hats could last even a second in a fight against Imu.
8. Roronoa Zoro
Roronoa Zoro is the skilled swordsman of the Straw Hat Pirates and was the first member to join Luffy’s crew. He’s consistently grown more powerful, mastering advanced Haki and acquiring new swords, making him a formidable opponent against One Piece’s strongest fighters.
Currently, the most powerful enemy Zoro has beaten in One Piece is King, one of the Yonko commanders. However, against someone like Imu, Zoro wouldn’t stand a chance – he wouldn’t even be able to hit them and would be defeated instantly. This was actually shown in chapter 1180, where Imu defeated Zoro with a single attack, sending him flying with Maki.
7. King
King is Kaido’s most powerful and trusted subordinate among his All-Stars. During the battle in Wano, he fought against Zoro. King’s abilities come from a powerful Ancient Zoan Devil Fruit – the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Pteranodon – combined with his unique Lunarian heritage, making him a formidable opponent.
King is powerful, but since Zoro has beaten him before, it wouldn’t be shocking if Imu could defeat him with just one blow. Imu would need to strike when King’s flames are extinguished, but that shouldn’t be difficult considering Imu’s speed and strength as the World Government’s leader.
6. Charlotte Katakuri
Charlotte Katakuri is the most powerful commander among the Big Mom Pirates in the anime and manga series One Piece. With his mother, Big Mom, defeated, he’s now potentially the new leader of the pirate crew.
Katakuri is a remarkably powerful fighter thanks to his Devil Fruit, the Mochi Mochi no Mi, and his advanced Haki, including the ability to see into the future. While he’s already very strong and has potential to improve, he wouldn’t stand a chance against someone like Imu; even a top commander like Katakuri would likely be defeated with a single blow. The power difference between them is significant and obvious.
5. Greenbull
Currently, Greenbull seems to be the weakest of the Admirals. He appeared for the first time after the Straw Hats defeated Kaido, but was quickly shown to be less powerful than Shanks. Shanks easily overwhelmed Greenbull from a distance, using his Haki to immobilize and frighten him away.
Honestly, even before Shanks showed up, Wano’s fighters – especially Yamato – were already doing a pretty good job holding their own against him. And if Green Bull went down so quickly against a Yonko, it makes you think… Imu, being the strongest person in the world, could probably take him out with a single hit, no problem!
4. Kizaru
Kizaru is a powerful Admiral in the Marines. He’s incredibly skilled with Haki and has a unique Devil Fruit called the Pika Pika no Mi. This fruit allows him to transform into and control light, making him a formidable opponent. As an Admiral, his strength is exceptional.
Kizaru wouldn’t be able to defeat someone like Luffy, even during the battle on Egghead. Surprisingly, Luffy wasn’t even using his full power when fighting Kizaru. Given that Kizaru couldn’t seriously injure Luffy, it’s clear he wouldn’t stand a chance against a stronger opponent like Imu. Kizaru’s speed simply isn’t enough to overcome someone at Imu’s level.
3. Dorry/Brogy
Dorry and Brogy, the co-captains of the Giant Pirates, are incredibly powerful, with a combined bounty of 3.6 billion berries. This puts them at a level comparable to the Yonko, and even exceeds that of someone like Monkey D. Luffy. Despite their immense strength, however, they proved ineffective when facing Imu.
During the events on Elbaf, Dorry and Brogy were quickly defeated by Imu, even in a weakened state with Gunko. Imu and Gunko instantly knocked them out and turned them into Domi Reversi slaves. They are among the most powerful characters shown being defeated with a single blow by Imu in One Piece.

2. Sabo
Sabo leads the Revolutionary Army, serving as its Chief of Staff. He’s the second strongest member, after Monkey D. Dragon, making him a formidable fighter capable of defeating almost any opponent. Sabo played a key role in the attack on Marijoa, which aimed to free Kuma from slavery and challenge the World Government.
During the mission, Sabo found himself in the room with the Empty Throne, where he unexpectedly came face-to-face with Imu and the Five Elders. Overwhelmed by their power, his only choice was to flee. While escaping, Imu nearly killed him, but Sabo was saved by Cobra. He wouldn’t have survived if Cobra hadn’t intervened.
1. Rocks D. Xebec
Imu’s most impressive feat of strength so far is defeating Rocks D. Xebec with a single blow. Rocks was the incredibly powerful captain of the Rocks Pirates, and was even considered a rival to the Pirate King, but Imu easily overcame him during the flashback to God Valley.
Xebec went to God Valley intending to rescue his family, but he was quickly defeated by the World Government’s leader and transformed into a mindless being. After meeting Imu, Rocks betrayed his own crew and family, becoming a feral beast. Ultimately, Garp and Roger teamed up to end his suffering.
