While a green blade doesn’t automatically mean a Jedi is more powerful than one with a blue blade, it’s a visual signal to fans about the Jedi’s journey and character. From experienced Masters like Yoda to rising heroes like Ezra Bridger, here’s a look at some of the most powerful Jedi who have wielded a green blade.

10. Luminara Unduil Was a Wise If Detached Jedi Master

Luminara Unduli was a thoughtful and insightful Jedi Master, known for her ability to remain calm and objective, even in difficult situations. While this helped her see things clearly, it also made her seem distant, particularly to those suffering during the Clone Wars. Sadly, her emotional distance prevented her from recognizing the growing unhappiness of her apprentice, Barris Offee, and Barris’s eventual turn to the dark side, fueled by despair over the war and the Jedi Order’s involvement.

Luminara’s calm and collected nature actually helped her in lightsaber battles. While she lost a major fight against Asajj Ventress, she fought bravely against a very strong opponent. She initially survived the devastating Jedi Purge, but was eventually captured and killed by the Empire.
