Steam is currently offering a free game to keep, and it’s certainly unique! Players can download and play “Dino running from a Furry,” an endless runner from 2024, and keep it forever. The game is a bit strange, but that seems to be intentional.
Many Steam users may already know about Dino running from a Furry being offered as a free game, as it was originally planned for Steam’s Free-to-Keep Promotion. That promotion has since grown, and Warhammer 40K: Gladius – Relics of War, Bunny Hurling, Drift86, IQ Under Construction, and Bunny Guys are also expected to be available as free downloads on Steam before the end of May.

Until May 30th at 1pm Eastern Time, Steam users can download Dino running from a Furry and keep it in their game library forever. It’s an endless runner where you play as a cute dinosaur trying to escape someone in a furry costume. Gameplay involves collecting coins, setting high scores, dodging obstacles, and other typical endless runner challenges. The game features bright, colorful graphics and lets you customize your dinosaur with different options.
Just a heads-up: this game is incredibly simple – basically, you just press one button. Also, it currently has a perfect score on Steam, but many of those reviews seem suspicious. It will be interesting to see if the rating changes as more people try it through this promotion. Even at its original price of $3, this game was a bargain, but now you can get it for free – at least until the promotion ends in May.

Besides the quirky promotion featuring a dinosaur running from a furry, Steam is also offering a free horror game called Terrors to Unveil – Day Off. You can claim it for free until May 19th at 10 am Pacific Time / 1 pm Eastern Time. The game follows Jack Williams, whose relaxing weekend getaway quickly turns into a terrifying experience.

Steam is also offering a Free Weekend promotion with several games to try out. You need to download and play these games by May 17th or 18th, as they won’t be permanently added to your library afterwards—unlike a couple of other recent freebies.
