Earning achievements on Steam and trophies on consoles feels great, especially the really challenging ones – they’re something to be proud of! Starsand Island offers a similar experience, with 75 achievements to unlock as you develop your skills, build relationships, and complete the in-game encyclopedia.
As a new player, I was absolutely showered with achievements at first! Seriously, it felt like every little thing I did triggered a pop-up during my first week. It was awesome, but things eventually calmed down. Now, some achievements are actually pretty tough. You really have to put in the hours grinding, and sometimes it just comes down to luck with getting rare items to drop.
10. Dream Manor
Purchase 5 New Plots of Land

Expanding your land can be a little complicated because it costs money and requires meeting certain conditions. You’ll unlock the ability to buy more land after decorating your cabin with five furniture items and reaching the Apprentice level in any skill.
- Level 2 (active Apprentice level) in any profession
- 5 requests completed
- Earn 2k coins
- Meet 10 Islanders
After you unlock the ability to buy land, you can gradually purchase each piece until you own all of Hopeland. This takes time and money, especially if you’re not focusing on maximizing efficiency. You’ll also need a lot of Starsand, which you can earn by completing quests and being active in the game’s community to afford all five land purchases.
9. Just Roommates
Have a Marriage Candidate Move in With You
Getting to know people on Starsand Island takes effort due to the game’s limits. You can only talk to, gift, or take a photo with each potential partner once a day. With characters spread across the island and so many other things to do – like crafting, mining, and completing jobs – it can be tricky to find time for everyone.
You can only have a non-playable character move in with you if you’ve reached a five-heart friendship level with them and they are eligible for marriage. There are seven women and six men you can marry in the game.
- Alex
- Lunelle
- Pastelle
- Neona
- Serena
- Solara
- Stella
- Zerine
- Aurelis
- Delphin
- Graminova
- Loren
- Sylvain
- Zephyria
- Youfang (who is the only candidate who cannot move in with you)
After you reach five hearts, you can ask the marriage candidate to move in with you.
8. Inseparable
Reach Four Hearts with Ten Residents
The Starsand Island achievement ‘Inseparable’ focuses on building a variety of relationships. To unlock it, you need to reach heart level four – the second-highest level – with ten different characters.
Okay, so as a total fan, I’ve figured out the key to getting this achievement! Basically, you need to chat with everyone every single day – not just the people you’re trying to romance, but all the townspeople. I also make sure to always have a bunch of those universally loved gifts, like Twilight Succulents and Moonflowers, on hand. And the best part? You don’t even need to run all over the island! Most of the NPCs you need to talk to just hang out in town, which makes things so much easier. It’s all about consistent daily visits and those little gifts!
7. Road Master
Build all Nine Bus Stops
To unlock fast travel in Road Master, you need to activate all the bus stops on Starsand Island. While it takes effort, fast travel makes getting around much easier. First, complete the quest from Marston at the Maritime Bureau. Then, Solara will ask for your help restoring the bus stops.
Fixing the bus stops isn’t hard, but it can be time-consuming if you don’t have the materials ready. Repairing each bus stop requires a lot of resources, meaning you’ll need to spend a significant amount of time gathering materials in the Moonlit Forest and turning ore into usable metal.
6. Lifelong Companions
Reach Friendship Level 5 with 10 NPCs
Reaching level 5 friendship with an NPC is the highest possible level right now, and it allows potential marriage partners to move in with you. While there are enough eligible characters to unlock this achievement by befriending everyone, it’s often simpler to focus on all the NPCs – some are easier to find and befriend than others, so don’t limit yourself!
Just like earning the Inseparable achievement, the quickest way to unlock this one is to collect a lot of gifts and follow a consistent schedule. Zerine, Graminova, Hattie, Regis, Ginger, Aurelis, and Solara are some of the easiest characters to befriend, as they usually stay in the same areas of town, making it easier to find them regularly.
5. Fluffy Recluse
Adopt Six Pets
I’m completely obsessed with the pets on Starsand Island – they’re just the cutest! And the best part is, you can actually adopt them. It takes a little work though – you can’t just grab one right away. You have to become friends with them first when they’re wandering around. Basically, you need to give them the food they love, pet them a lot, and play with them until they warm up to you. It’s so rewarding when they finally decide you’re their person!
There are 12 adoptable animals in Starsand Island:
- 404: This is a cat, and yes, that is his name.
- Booboo: Panda
- Sarge: Dog
- Nana: Cat
- Octa: Fox
- Zippy: Squirrel
- Mellowhen: Capybara
- Crescent: Cat
- Bobo: Dog
- Scrappy: Dog
- Sheriff: Cat
- Meow Alum: Cat
Bringing a pet into your life requires patience, proper nutrition, and finding the right animal – which is why it’s something relatively few people accomplish. If you stay dedicated, you’ll quickly gain some wonderful furry, scaled, or feathered friends.
4. Sandcastle Kingdom
Buy Blue Beach
Okay, so I finally unlocked the Sandcastle Kingdom achievement! It turns out you get it by buying Blue Beach, which is a plot of land on the main island. The tricky part was getting there – you need to reach Level 4 with the Bright Star rating in the Island Living app before you can even buy it. It was a bit of a grind, but totally worth it!
Reaching Bright Star requires some effort. First, you need to complete all three previous levels and reach the highest rank in Island Living. Then, you’ll need 6,000,000 Simoleons to buy it.
- Purchase Cloudrest Lake
- Reach Expert in any Profession
- Reach 5 hearts with 2 marriage candidates
- Meet 24 residents
- Give gifts to residents 30 times
- Discover 70 aquatic creatures
- Go sea fishing 10 times
- Complete 200 merchant ship purchases
- Build a cross-sea bridge
- Acquire ten types of mounts
- Acquire ten types of large land vehicles
3. Legendary Friend
Unlock the Luna Deer
Traveling around Starsand Island is made easier with mounts. Many different types are currently available, allowing players to choose one that suits their character and preferences. The Luna Deer is a particularly beautiful and rare mount, and obtaining it also earns you the Legendary Friend achievement.

You’ll earn the Luna Deer by finishing the Moonlit Forest questline. This quest takes time because you’ll need to level up your Crafting and Explorer skills to unlock the recipes for weapons and tools that help you overcome obstacles and enemies. Make sure you have plenty of arrows – especially fire and water arrows for dealing with vines – and you’ll be well-prepared for any challenge the forest throws at you.
2. Offshore Living
Purchase Land on Windflute Island
You earn the “Offshore Living” achievement by buying Windflute Island. It’s the last piece of land currently available in Starsand Island, but you’ll need to complete a few tasks before you can purchase it.
To be able to buy Windflute Island in the Island Life app, you first need to become a Starsand Legend – the highest level. This means completing all earlier levels, building ten stations, and buying Blue Beach. After that, you can purchase Windflute Island for 10,000,000g.
1. Living Legend
Own All the Land on Starsand Island
Okay, so as a Starsand Island player, let me tell you, getting that one achievement is brutal. It’s not just about having a lot of money, you also need a ton of luck with the random stuff in the game, and you basically have to try everything the game offers. A lot of the best land only unlocks as you progress, and you can’t even buy it all at once – it comes in pieces, which makes it even more of a grind!
The “Living Legend” achievement in Starsand Island is unlocked by buying every piece of land on the island. This requires reaching the highest level within the Island Living app and finishing all related tasks. Earning this achievement signifies you’ve experienced all currently available content in the Starsand Island Early Access version, until the next update is released.
