To celebrate the release of the Chaos Rising expansion, Pokemon TCG Live is offering players two free decks featuring the new Mega Greninja ex and Mega Floette ex. You can earn these decks as rewards in the battle pass for the game’s latest season.
The newest expansion for the Pokemon Trading Card Game is packed with exciting new cards for players and collectors. This set introduces several popular Mega Pokemon, including Mega Greninja, Mega Gallade, and Mega Dragalge. Called Chaos Rising, the expansion also includes new Trainer cards that are expected to be competitive, such as the Special Red Card, which can disrupt opponents’ hands, and Philippe, which helps Steel-type decks reuse their Energy. Players will also get a chance to test out some of these new cards in Pokemon TCG Live for free.

The new season of Pokemon TCG Live, called Chaos Rising, will reward players with two new decks as they progress through the battle pass. One deck focuses on the powerful Mega Greninja, using cards to quickly build up Water Energy and maximize its attacks. The other deck centers around Mega Floette, combining it with cards like Hero’s Cape to create an incredibly durable Pokemon with up to 500 HP. You can unlock the Mega Greninja ex deck right when Chaos Rising launches, and the Mega Floette ex deck will become available halfway through the season.

The pre-constructed decks from Pokemon TCG Live both feature new cards from the Chaos Rising expansion. Each deck includes Special Red Card – two in the Mega Greninja deck and one in the Mega Floette deck – ensuring players have access to multiple copies of this powerful Trainer card. The Mega Floette deck also utilizes two new Stadium cards from Chaos Rising, Prism Tower and Ange Floette, which work together to enhance its main Pokemon. Both decks are also packed with strong Supporter cards like Lillie’s Determination, Team Rocket’s Petrel, and Judge.
Two new decks are coming to Pokemon TCG Live, offering fresh ways to play after a recent change to the game’s rules. Pokemon recently updated the Standard Format with the release of Perfect Order, removing older cards from the Scarlet and Violet series. This change, called a rotation, removed strong cards like Iono, Arven, and Professor’s Research, impacting popular decks like Gholdengo ex and Gardevoir ex and forcing players to adapt their strategies.

The game is introducing a “Build and Battle” mode, similar to the pre-release events for the physical Pokemon card game.
