ARC Raiders: Water Troubles Quest Guide

In ARC Raiders, Celeste gives you a quest called Water Troubles. It asks you to get a water sample from the Dam Battlegrounds. While it seems easy, it’s actually challenging because Dam Battlegrounds is a very large area to explore.

If you’re here, you’re likely searching for the water sample and haven’t been able to find it. That’s understandable – it’s hidden in a tricky spot that most players miss.

Having trouble locating the water sample for Celeste in ARC Raiders? This guide will walk you through the ‘Water Troubles’ quest, including how to finish it and what you’ll receive as a reward.

The Flood Access Tunnel Location

To get the water sample for Celeste in ARC Raiders’ Water Troubles quest, you’ll first need to locate the Flood Access Tunnel on the Dam Battlegrounds. It’s east of the Control Tower and Research & Administration buildings, near the large red lake. See the image below for the precise location.

If you start on the west side of the map and need to get to the east side by walking, you’ll eventually come to a cliff overlooking the Red Lakes. Although stairs are available near the Control Tower and Research & Administration buildings, using a zipline – if you have one – is the quickest way down.

You’ll find the entrance to the Flood Access Tunnel on the concrete wall, right under the Control Tower.

Where to Find the Water Sample for Celeste

You’ve reached the Flood Access Tunnel, so now you can get the water sample Celeste needs. It’s conveniently located right at the tunnel’s entrance – you won’t have to go far inside!

Okay, so when I got into the Flood Access Tunnel, I just kept heading straight. Eventually, I came to this gross little pool of sewage water with pipes sticking into it. I needed to grab a water sample for Celeste, and it turned out the pipe on the left was the one I had to interact with to get it. Easy peasy!

Now that you’ve collected the water sample, simply use it and go back to Celeste in Speranza. Talking to her while you have the sample will finish the Water Troubles quest in ARC Raiders.

Water Troubles Quest Rewards

After you submit the water sample and finish the “Water Troubles” quest in ARC Raiders, you’ll receive a reward. You’ll get 3 Simple Gun Parts, 3 Steel Springs, and 3 Mechanical Components. These items are used for crafting, letting you build useful things at your workbench.

Okay, so the stuff you get from finishing “Water Troubles” isn’t amazing, I get that. But honestly, it’s totally worth doing! It unlocks more quests from Celeste, and those quests give you way better rewards. I’m glad I pushed through it for that reason!
