In LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, the Absolute Batman outfit becomes available after you collect all 9 Escaped Zoo Animals hidden throughout Gotham City. Keep reading for a helpful guide on how to unlock this skin!
How to Get Absolute Batman in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight
You can unlock the Absolute Batman suit once you’ve found 9 of the escaped Zoo Animals hidden around Gotham City. There are 21 animals in total, but you only need 9 to get the suit. Keep in mind that these animals won’t become available to find until you reach Chapter 2: The Penguin.
After you’ve located all 9 escaped zoo animals, you can open the options menu by pressing the Options button, then press R1 (on PlayStation) or RB (on Xbox) to choose your character. Then, select Batman and press Square to view his available suits. From that menu, choose Absolute Batman – it will be the first option since it’s listed alphabetically.

What (& Who) is Absolute Batman?
Absolute Batman is a recent comic book series that began in 2024. It’s created by the well-known writer Scott Snyder and artist Nick Dragotta. The story explores an alternate universe where Batman is dedicated to fighting crime, but he didn’t have the benefit of wealth, a home, or a butler like in the traditional Batman stories.
The Absolute Batman universe is a creation of Darkseid, resulting in a world taken to its furthest limits. Everything is amplified – the action is more intense, the violence is more extreme, and classic heroes and villains are reimagined in dramatically new ways.
