When Bungie announced the end of active development for Destiny 2 with a final update planned for June 9th, many players expected Destiny 3 to be the next project, especially with Bungie also working on Marathon. However, a recent report from Bloomberg indicates that Destiny 3 isn’t currently being developed, and Bungie is planning layoffs after the final update. While the accuracy of this report is still uncertain, the Destiny 2 community is hoping for a fresh start with a new game in the series.
