In Subnautica 2, you can get Acidic Raion Pouches from the Acid Raion plant. This large plant has bright purple, brain-like leaves surrounding a single stem with a green bulb on top.
Acid Raions are usually found growing inside caves and rocky areas near your Lifepod. You can find them by looking for holes in the seabed and diving down. The area right under your Lifepod has lots of these rock formations where they grow, and you can harvest Acidic Raion Pouches there.
As a big fan of the Acid Raion, I’ve learned that the Acidic Raion Pouch is basically its central control – you could think of it as the ‘brain’! What’s really cool is you can actually detach it from the rest of the Acid Raion using the Survival Multitool. And just so you know, each Acid Raion actually has three of these Acidic Raion Pouches inside.

The bright green, bulb-like part is the Medical Gel Sac, and you can easily collect it by hand. The main stem of the Acid Raion can’t be harvested – it remains rooted even after you’ve taken everything else. Both the Acidic Raion Pouches and the Medical Gel Sac will grow back over time on the same plant.
Medical Gel Sacs can be used immediately to restore health, or you can combine them at a Fabricator to create First Aid Kits. These kits will be your primary way to heal yourself during the beginning of Subnautica 2.
