Assassin’s Creed Hexe Leak Reveals Locations, Dialogue and Ezio’s Return – Report

Recent leaks for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Hexe suggest details about where the game will take place, what characters will say, and even the possible return of Ezio Auditore da Firenze, a beloved hero from earlier Assassin’s Creed games. These new details add to existing speculation about the game’s main character, Elsa, who may not be her final name.

A reliable Ubisoft leaker, j0nathan (through Reddit), has revealed significant new details about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Hexe. The latest information clarifies that the game’s protagonist is named Anika, not Elsa, which was a temporary name used during development. Anika is a descendant of Claudia Auditore, Ezio’s sister, meaning she’s related to the famous assassin Ezio.

Assassin’s Creed Hexe is expected to be set primarily in Wurzburg, Germany, and will feature expansive forests to explore. Players will even be able to unlock a skill allowing them to jump between tree branches. Gameplay will involve discovering ritual sites and retrieving stolen artifacts throughout the world.

A source claiming to have inside information says Ezio Auditore is definitely coming back in a future game. It’s unclear whether he’ll appear physically, as a ghostly image connected to the Isu, or through memories. Reportedly, some of his lines include “Come. Leap with me. One last time for an old man” and “They always fear what they cannot control. They called us demons once, too. But remember, Elsa: ‘Nothing is true, everything is permitted.’”

Anika or Elsa will also mention that the white hood resembles one from her mother’s sketches, and Ezio will respond with, “She wanted you to have a life.”

According to leaked information, the story for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Hexe is expected to be the best in the series since Origins (2017). Gameplay will also feature more dynamic NPCs who can report strange behavior and actively search for players, making stealth and quick movement essential for staying undetected.

Like any unconfirmed information, it’s best to be skeptical until Ubisoft officially confirms it – and that might take some time. They’re currently prioritizing work on Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced.
