The God Valley Incident was a huge battle, similar in scale to the war at Marineford, bringing together some of the most powerful groups in the world. Because of this, fans can readily identify the most powerful characters of that era, and it’s where young survivors like Marshall D. Teach and the Figarland brothers began their journeys to become major powers decades later.

It’s been almost twenty years since players first explored the world of Persona 4 on the PlayStation 2. While the enhanced ‘Golden’ edition kept the game popular on the Vita and PC, it was still based on the original 2008 release. Now, after the successful remake of Persona 3 Reload showed there’s strong demand for complete overhauls, the developers are giving the town of Inaba the same treatment with a full remake of Persona 4.

Games like Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Nioh, Lies of P, and Mortal Shell have all been highly acclaimed for their challenging gameplay. Among these popular titles is Lords of the Fallen, a 2014 game from the studio CI Games that gained a dedicated following.

Since its debut in 2007, the Assassin’s Creed series has released 14 main games, and Assassin’s Creed Unity is often considered one of the most controversial. While it had a very difficult launch, plagued by serious bugs, glitches, and performance problems that drew criticism from players and reviewers, Ubisoft has since fixed many of these issues. Now, players can enjoy Unity‘s refined parkour and improved stealth mechanics, which were advancements over earlier games in the series.

Although FIFA Heroes is being fully revealed now, it was first announced in October 2025. This game will be the first official FIFA title released since the end of its partnership with EA Sports in October 2022. That partnership ended, reportedly, over disagreements about licensing costs. After the split, FIFA announced plans to collaborate with different game developers and publishers to create a wider range of soccer games, and FIFA Heroes is the first of these new projects.

It’s always a gamble finding a show you’ll actually enjoy, and a truly good ‘Seinen’ anime can be especially hard to find. The 2000s proved that even shows aimed at mature audiences could be disappointing. While the decade did give us some incredible anime, it also produced a lot of poor adaptations that damaged the reputation of the genre.
