The next chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Chapter 34, will start a new story arc on May 20, 2026, in Shueisha’s V-Jump Issue #7. Following the end of the Mamushi Arc, this chapter will wrap up any remaining plot points and hint at what’s coming next. A preview panel was released on the official Boruto and Naruto website, naruto-official.com, on May 18, 2026.

The panel featured Boruto, Chocho, Shikadai, Inojin, and Himawari Uzumaki as they celebrated defeating Shinju Mamushi. The biggest reveal was that Himawari, now possessing Kurama’s power, has achieved a massive power boost, reaching Six Paths level, and her healing abilities now match Naruto’s peak during the Fourth Great Ninja War.

New Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34 Sneak Peek Confirms Himawari’s New Healing Powers

On May 18, 2026, the official Boruto and Naruto website, naruto-official.com, released another preview image for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34. This preview showed Boruto Uzumaki teleporting after Mamushi, and also gave fans a look at what happened with Himawari Uzumaki after she tried to help Inojin in the previous chapter.

In the April 20, 2026 release of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 33, Inojin tried to protect Konoha by swapping bodies with Mamushi and then sending a powerful, damaging force towards Daemon. This attack was designed to reflect off all of Mamushi’s clones, eliminating them. However, the plan backfired – because Inojin wanted to disable Daemon’s vision, the effect also damaged his own eyes and those of his clones. This would have severely weakened Inojin as a ninja. Luckily, Himawari quickly used Kurama’s healing abilities to restore his sight.

The latest preview of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34 reveals that Inojin has fully recovered his eyesight. Himawari successfully healed both of his eyes, restoring his vision completely. This impressive healing ability is reminiscent of Naruto Uzumaki’s feats during the Fourth Great Ninja War, which occurred in May 2014, twelve years prior.

Himawari’s Restoration Powers Are Comparable To Naruto’s Six Paths Yin-Yang Release

To understand just how impressive Himawari Uzumaki’s healing ability is in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34, it’s helpful to remember something Naruto did during the Fourth Great Ninja War. Near the end of the war, Madara Uchiha attacked Kakashi, ripping out his Mangekyo Sharingan and using it to access the Kamui dimension. Naruto had recently awakened his Six Paths powers, and almost immediately afterward, he used a special energy – Yin-Yang Release – to completely restore Kakashi’s eye, even though it had been stolen. This accomplishment is arguably even more impressive than the feats Naruto performed during the war.

While it might be unexpected, Himawari actually has a stronger connection with Kurama than Naruto did. This was officially revealed in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 10 (published in V Jump Issue #7, May 2024), where Kurama confirmed their greater synergy. This connection suggests Himawari has the potential to unlock even more of Kurama’s powers than anyone before her.

Kurama tells Himawari that her chakra is more compatible with his than anyone else’s, even more so than Naruto’s.

Later, in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 25, it was revealed that Himawari isn’t a Jinchuriki – she’s a human who is a Tailed Beast, much like Jura and the Ten Tails. This makes her powers from Kurama exceptionally pure and strong, enabling her to accomplish things even Naruto couldn’t do previously.

Himawari’s Full Potential In The Future Of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex

Himawari Uzumaki has become incredibly strong, as demonstrated by her recent actions in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34. This shows how much she’s improved quickly. However, she hasn’t reached her full potential as a ninja yet. We saw in Chapter 25 that her training with Kurama wasn’t going well, and she wasn’t meeting the Tailed Beast’s expectations, indicating she still has a long way to go.

It will take Himawari a long time to fully control Kurama’s power, but once she does, she could potentially unlock incredible abilities like the full Kurama Chakra Mode and healing skills rivaling those of the Six Paths. She might even be able to use techniques similar to Baryon Mode, and due to a stronger connection with Kurama, she could potentially avoid the deadly consequences that came with it.

We’re only guessing at this point, but it’s definitely possible that Himawari will become incredibly powerful. According to the series’ author, Mikio Ikemoto, and supervisor, Masashi Kishimoto, she may even have more potential than Naruto did. As an adult, she’s expected to be far stronger than most Kage-level ninja, and potentially a match for powerful beings like the Otsutsuki clan and Jura. If she fully develops her abilities, Himawari could become one of Konoha’s strongest shinobi, and might even surpass Naruto at his peak – a remarkable feat for someone we’ve watched grow up over the last decade.

For Himawari to truly develop her abilities, we’ll need to be patient. She’s still very young and has a long way to go before she fully controls Kurama’s power. As a supporting character, the story will primarily focus on Boruto, Kawaki, and Sarada. While Himawari will have her moments, they won’t be frequent, so it’s best to manage our expectations. Ultimately, this new, incredibly powerful ability is something all Boruto fans can enjoy!
