The Bringer of Balance, a powerful two-handed staff, is hidden in Crimson Desert. You can find it in a secret underground area beneath some old ruins located north of Demeniss in the Tashkalp region.
How to Get the Bringer of Balance Staff in Crimson Desert
The Bringer of Balance Two-Handed Staff in Crimson Desert is hidden in the Golden Basement. This secret area is located underground, northeast of Deadfire Mountain in the Tashkalp region – look directly above the letter “I” in Demeniss on the map to find it. Here’s a guide on how to access it.
- Fast travel to the Smoking Lands Abyss Nexus near Deadfire Mountain.
- Head east until you reach the Well of Reflection ruins, where the terrain changes from green to rocky.
- From up high, look for a small trapdoor in the ruins. It will be surrounded by short, red-brick walls.
- Go down the stairs while avoiding the spike traps.
- Step inside and claim the Bringer of Balance from the pedestal.
Jump and Force Palm three times to gain some height.
Open the trapdoor and jump down the hole to the Golden Basement.
Turn left and disable the trap on the doorway by attacking the rope on the ground.
Head inside and interact with the Handle to reveal a hidden chamber directly in front of you.

Okay, so the Bringer of Balance is awesome, and it’s all thanks to the Relentless. Seriously, that Abyss Gear is amazing in Crimson Desert. Basically, the more you hit something with it, the harder each hit gets. It just keeps building up, which is super effective in combat!
During battles, a combo meter on the right side of the screen shows how many attacks you’ve landed in a row. The more consecutive attacks you perform, the stronger your weapon becomes.
The Bringer of Balance’s combat meter only fills up when attacks directly hit the enemy’s body. Blocks and dodges won’t contribute to filling the meter.
A great feature is the ability to get Relentless Abyss Gear from the Bringer of Balance and add it to your other weapons. This lets you significantly boost the damage of your preferred, fully upgraded weapon without needing to level up the Bringer of Balance. While fast-attacking weapons benefit the most, you can use this Abyss Gear with any weapon you like.
If you combine Relentless with Boots or Gloves, the damage boost from the Abyss Gear will only apply to your bare-handed attacks, not attacks with melee weapons like swords or axes.
