Epic Games Store is giving away two free games on May 7th: Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure and Trash Goblin. These colorful indie games are the third and fourth free titles available to claim in May 2026, following two previous offers.
Furniture and Mattress, a new indie studio with talent from acclaimed puzzle games like Braid, Carto, and Ethereal, recently released Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure. The game, first shown in February 2024, earned the ‘Best Game from Latin America’ award at Gamescom Latam before launching in July 2024. Meanwhile, Spilt Milk Studios, based in London, is developing Trash Goblin, a shopkeeping simulator planned for release in 2025. In Trash Goblin, players will find, fix up, and sell various items to improve their workshop and build a comfortable life.
Arranger and Trash Goblin Debut as an Epic Games Store Freebies Next Week
Following the end of the Doomblade giveaway on April 30th, the Epic Games Store announced its next free games: Arranger and Trash Goblin. These games will be available to download for free for one week, until May 14th at 8 a.m. Pacific Time, 11 a.m. Eastern Time, or 5 p.m. Central European Time. Both games usually cost $19.99, and Arranger can be played on both Windows and macOS. This is the first time either game has been offered for free on the Epic Games Store.
Critics are really enjoying Arranger, calling it one of the best puzzle adventures Epic Games has released recently. As of now, OpenCritic gives it a “Strong” rating, averaging 80 out of 100 from 38 reviews, with 75% of critics recommending it. While it has some RPG elements, Arranger is mostly about solving puzzles by sliding tiles around to create paths, avoid traps, and manage enemies. Reviewers found the tile-sliding gameplay easy to pick up but hard to put down, and they generally describe the game as a delightful experience that will appeal to a wide range of players. A typical playthrough takes about five hours, but those who aim to complete everything can expect around eight hours of gameplay.
