Forza Horizon 6: Best Drag Car (Launch Meta)

To build a quick drag car in Forza Horizon 6, you need excellent Acceleration and Launch stats, along with a light weight and good tires. We tested several cars at the Irowaka Quarter Mile Drag Meet event to find the fastest setup, and we discovered one car that consistently delivers a really impressive time.

With around 600 cars to choose from, there’s likely an even better option for drag racing out there, but this is the fastest one we’ve found so far. Keep in mind that it’s just our recommendation! If you discover a quicker car or have a helpful tip, please share it in the comments, and we’ll happily update this guide.

What’s the Best Drag Racing Car in Forza Horizon 6?

We tested several fast cars, and the 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Forza Edition performed the best so far. In its original condition, we finished the Irowaka Drag Meet in 8.5 seconds. After adding Drag Tires and upgrading to X class using in-game credits, we improved our best time to 7.6 seconds – a pretty good result!

The Mercedes-AMG One ran the drag strip in 9.4 seconds, and the 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto did it in 9.9 seconds. While those times aren’t as fast as our Tacoma’s, they’re still quite impressive.

How to Get the Tacoma TRD Pro Forza Edition

Currently, the Tacoma TRD Pro isn’t available to purchase individually in Forza Horizon 6. You can only get it by buying the $119.99 premium edition of the game or as part of a $20 add-on package. This package also includes the Dodge Viper GTS ACR and the Lotus Evija.

Currently, these cars aren’t available through the in-game auction house, meaning you can’t buy them from other Forza Horizon 6 players. While future events might offer alternative ways to earn these cars without paying extra, they’re currently quite expensive.
