Forza Horizon 6: How to Sell Cars (Auction House Unlock Guide)

Selling cars in Forza Horizon 6 isn’t straightforward. You can’t just instantly sell them for cash – you have to list them on the Auction House and sell them to other players. This means finding a good price and waiting for someone to bid on your car, much like selling something in real life!

This guide will show you how to access the Auction House in Forza Horizon 6 and sell your cars to make Credits.

How to Unlock the Auction House in Forza Horizon 6

Okay, so if you’re like me and can’t wait to start flipping cars in Forza Horizon 6, there’s one thing you gotta do first. You need to win the Horizon Invitational Race – that gets you your first Horizon Wristband. After that, a ton more stuff opens up on the map, and you can finally check out Mei’s House over in the Ohtani district – it’s the first of eight houses you can buy in the game, which is awesome!

You can buy more houses in Forza Horizon 6 as you collect Discover Japan Stamps, but they’ll be quite expensive in Credits. These houses come with helpful Perks that give you an advantage. For example, buying Mei’s House unlocks the Wheeler Dealer Perk, allowing you to trade cars at the Autoshow.

How to Sell Cars in Forza Horizon 6

In Forza Horizon 6, you can sell your cars from any of your player homes. Simply go to the ‘Buy and Sell’ section and choose ‘Auction House’.

Next, select ‘Start Auction’ and choose the car you’d like to list. You’ll then be able to set a starting price, a ‘buy it now’ price, and how long the auction will last.

You can also track your ongoing auctions in the Auction House menu. If an auction finishes without any bids, you’ll be notified that the car didn’t sell. At that point, you can try relisting it at a lower price, or consider selling a different vehicle instead.
