Wildlight Entertainment is quickly responding to feedback from players about missing features in their new game, Highguard. Players noticed shortly after the game’s release two days ago that some expected settings weren’t included.
The Highguard team responded to the issue on social media, promising quick updates based on player feedback.
Highguard FOV Sliders Incoming
Highguard hasn’t had a great start since its release on Monday. Wildlight Entertainment tried something ambitious – blending several game genres to create a truly new experience – but unfortunately, the final product doesn’t quite live up to that potential.
Highguard was released after a month of no news following its initial trailer reveal at The Game Awards. The host of the awards show, Geoff Keighley, is also facing criticism for his extensive promotion of the game.
The Wildlight team recently announced on social media that they’re working on improvements players have been requesting to enhance the game experience.
Based on your feedback, we’re adding features like adjustable field of view on consoles, options to toggle aim down sights and crouching, and more graphics settings for PC players. We plan to release an update tomorrow and will share the full list of changes once it’s available.
Many players were surprised that Highguard launched with certain features missing. However, Wildlight plans to fix these issues today with a new patch.
Highguard has a full year of planned updates ready to launch. Whether many players will be around to experience them all remains to be seen.
