You can begin the ‘Bran’s Request’ side quest by finding a note on the bulletin board at the Goldleaf Guildhouse, located in the Unicorn Cliff area southeast of Hernand Town in the Crimson Desert. You may also find the quest trigger on other notice boards nearby. Obtaining and reading ‘Bran’s Poster’ will also start the quest, which involves a merchant named Bran who wants to sell his spinning wheel.
To follow this optional quest, open the menu and go to your Journal. Then, select ‘Faction Quests’ and find ‘Hernand Commissions.’ Once you’ve located the request, turn on quest tracking.
Where to Find Bran in Crimson Desert and Spin the Wheel
You’ll find Bran at his leather shop in Hernand Town. Luckily, there’s an Abyss Nexus point there, so you can quickly travel back without having to walk.
When you go inside the Tannery, you’ll find Bran at his table. He wants to sell his spinning wheel and will ask you to try it out. The wheel is on the right side of his workspace. Simply walk over and press the X button if you’re on Xbox, or the Square button if you’re on PlayStation 5, to pick it up.
Once you have the item, steer right by pressing the right direction on the controller. Then, hold down the A button (on Xbox) or the X button (on PlayStation 5) to speed up. Don’t stop turning the wheel, even if you get tired, and you’ll eventually finish the task. A lot of players are struggling with this part because they stop turning too soon.
What’s the Reward for Bran’s Request in Crimson Desert
As a reward from Bran for spinning his wheel, you’ll get the following:
- 50 Trust points with Bran
- Thin Hide (Crafting material)
- 30 Contribution XP for Hernand
- 3 Extra inventory slots to carry more items
You can talk to Bran again to see what he’s selling. He has items like a Small Bag to give you more space to carry things, as well as different types of hides – Thick, Short Hair, and Sturdy.
