In Heartopia, collecting materials is key to exploring, making things, and interacting with animals. While some materials are easy to find, others are hidden. Bamboo, though not uncommon, can be surprisingly difficult to locate consistently. This guide will show you exactly where to find Bamboo in Heartopia, saving you time and effort.
Where to Find Bamboo in Heartopia
You can only find bamboo growing in the Forest area of Heartopia. It grows as tall bamboo stalks and needs to be harvested directly from the plants – you can’t just pick it up off the ground.
You’ll consistently find bamboo in the lower part of the Forest, close to where the pandas live and the Jump Puzzle is located. If you see pandas wandering around, you know bamboo is close by.
You’ll need an axe to collect bamboo. Because bamboo grows like trees, you have to chop it down instead of simply picking it. Once you chop it down, the bamboo will drop and you can pick it up right away.
Because the bamboo grows densely here, you can quickly gather a lot without having to walk around much. The forest replenishes itself often, so it’s best to check this spot every day.
How to Use Bamboo in Heartopia
In Heartopia, bamboo is primarily grown as food for the pandas. Luckily for them, the bamboo forests are in the same lower area where they live, making it easy for them to find. Their feeding trough is enormous – the biggest one in the whole area – and is cleverly designed to look like a hollowed-out bamboo log, made of wood.
Once you’ve collected enough bamboo, you can immediately take it to the pandas and feed them. Because the bamboo forest is right next to their enclosure, you don’t have to go far to gather food and deliver it. This is particularly helpful when you’re working on tasks involving the animals or trying to become friends with them.
In Heartopia, Bamboo isn’t just a plant – you can also use it to craft unique items! It’s perfect for building fences, creating Asian-inspired furniture, and adding decorative touches to your home and garden. If you like customizing your spaces, Bamboo is a great resource to have.
