The least expensive car in Forza Horizon 6, the 2013 Wuling Sunshine S, is surprisingly good for quickly earning experience points (XP). You only need 2,000 credits (or a bit more, as you’ll earn it back) and a few Skill Points to use this method. Skill Points are easy to get while driving around in free roam.
As a Forza Horizon 6 fan, I’ve been looking for ways to level up quickly and get those awesome Wheelspins! I found this guide that breaks down how the game’s progression works, and then shows you how to earn XP fast and easy. It’s a total game-changer if you want to unlock stuff quickly!
Forza Horizon 6 Progression and Currencies, Explained
| Resources/Currency | How to Get | What Does It Do? |
|---|---|---|
| Credits (CR) | Complete races. | Used for buying property and purchasing/upgrading cars |
| Experience (XP) | Earned through racing events, exploration, stories, and smashing XP boards. | Unlocks Wheelspins (every 3 levels). |
| Skill Points (SP) | Complete actions during races and free drive. | Spent in the Car Mastery skill trees. |
Earning XP and leveling up your profile is a simple way to get Wheelspins in FH6. These Wheelspins can win you awesome prizes, even some of the most valuable cars in the game.
Previous Forza Horizon games gave players a free spin of the Wheel with each level they gained. Forza Horizon 6 has changed this – you won’t get rewards quite as often, which honestly, was a good thing since the previous system could be overwhelming.
In Forza Horizon 6, you now only receive a free Wheelspin when you hit specific level milestones, instead of after every level. This means finding ways to level up quickly is even more beneficial than it used to be.
Each car in the game features a unique skill tree with different upgrades. In Forza Horizon 6, the first Mastery perk you unlock on every car gives you extra XP, with the amount of XP based on how rare the car is. For just 1 Skill Point, you can get:
- 2,000 XP from Common cars
- 3,000 XP from Rare cars
- 4,000 XP from Epic cars
- 5,000 XP from Legendary cars
- 10,000 XP from exclusive cars like Treasure Cars, Barn Finds, and Forza Edition (FE) custom variants.
How to Farm XP Fast in Forza Horizon 6 (Wuling Sunshine S Method)
At just 2,000 credits, the Wuling Sunshine S 2013 is the most affordable car in Forza Horizon 6, available at the Autoshow. Surprisingly, it costs more than twice as little as any other vehicle in the game, and it’s classified as a Rare car, not a Common one.
Okay, so I figured out a really quick way to level up! Basically, I can spend just one skill point to earn 3,000 XP on a car, then sell that same car for the same price I bought it for – or even just give it away, honestly, it’s not a huge loss. Then I just repeat the process over and over. It’s insane how fast you can rack up tens of thousands of XP and level up super quickly!
As a fan, I’m really excited about this! Not only do you get the usual XP when you level up, but with the new Wuling Sunshine S, every Skill Point you spend now gives you an extra 200 XP! That means each Skill Point actually gets you a total of 3,200 XP – it’s a fantastic boost!
In Forza Horizon 6, some great cars for quickly earning Skill Points (SP) include the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV 2022 (costs 5,000 CR, is a Rare car, and gives 3,000 XP – you can often auction it for around 6,000 CR), the Honda City E II 1984 (7,500 CR, Epic, 4,000 XP), and the Volkswagen Beetle 1963 (17,000 CR, Legendary, 5,000 XP).
This method is currently working in FH6, but it could be patched later on.
