How to Make a Donation to the Museum in Paralives

In Paralives, one of your early goals is ‘Discover the Town,’ which requires completing five tasks. While some of these are straightforward, others, like donating to the museum, might be a bit unclear. If you’re wondering how to donate to the museum in Paralives, or what kinds of items you can donate, I’ll explain everything below. Let’s get started!

Summary for Donating to the Museum in Paralives

  • Find either a gem, mushroom, or buried artifact somewhere around the town.
  • Head to the museum near the building ruins (which will eventually become the community center), and townhall and library.
  • Interact with the blue boxes outside the front door and in the center of the museum.
  • Select the gem/mushroom/ buried artifact from your item store and choose to donate it.

Making a Donation to the Museum in Paralives

If you’d like to donate something to the museum, please visit the building near the town hall and library. You’ll find a blue collection box right outside the entrance.

You’ll find a second blue donation box inside the museum, but it’s further in – you’ll need to go past the first one to get to it.

Opening the ‘Donate Item’ menu lets you choose something from your inventory on the left to give to the museum. As you donate, the green progress bar on the right will fill up, and you’ll get rewards when you reach certain milestones.

Here’s the thing: you can’t donate just anything to the museum. I tried donating a regular wall clock, but the game wouldn’t let me, as shown in the screenshots in this guide. You need to find and donate specific items like gems, mushrooms, or artifacts instead.

Where to Find Gems, Mushrooms, and Artifacts to Donate to the Museum

The museum only accepts three kinds of donations, and they’re all usually located around town. I’ve mostly found gems near the edges of town, often lying on the ground by cliffs or rocky walls.

I spotted a Fly Agaric mushroom on the woodland trail near the cow field, just outside of town. These mushrooms are usually found in wooded areas with plenty of plants and wildlife.

Archaeological finds often appear in unexpected places outside of the main town area. These spots can be harder to locate because the subtle signs of buried items – like small changes in the soil – are much less obvious than things you can easily see, such as mushrooms or gems.
