Fans of One Piece have even more to look forward to! Shortly after the anime’s return, the official One Piece account on X (formerly Twitter) announced a trailer for the third season of the live-action series. The new season is scheduled for release in 2027, meaning fans will get two consecutive seasons – one in 2026 and another in 2027.

Besides the announcement of the live-action series, the official One Piece social media also revealed a Lego One Piece anime is in the works. Although surprising to some, many One Piece fans had anticipated this, considering the frequent collaborations between the two brands.
A new animated series retelling the story of the One Piece live-action adaptation is coming to Netflix. Titled ‘Lego One Piece,’ this two-part anime is scheduled to premiere on September 29, 2026, and will be available exclusively on the streaming platform.

One Piece Remake By Wit Studio Also Released A Trailer
The One Piece remake released a brief teaser revealing the updated character designs. However, many of these designs had already been shown before.

Fans are starting to worry because the upcoming remake still doesn’t have a release date. Although it was announced in 2024, the studio hasn’t shared many updates since then.
Since the original source material is still being created, Wit Studio probably isn’t hurrying to complete the anime adaptation. This allows them to focus on quality and release it when they feel it’s truly ready.
