A new code for Disney Dreamlight Valley gives players a free outfit inspired by the game’s spring event and a beloved classic Disney movie. Disney Dreamlight Valley regularly adds new content through updates, recently including characters and themes from Star Wars, Pocahontas, and other favorites.
In early April 2026, Disney Dreamlight Valley received a free update called Whispers of the Wind, introducing Pocahontas and her raccoon companion, Meeko. The update included a new story where players help Pocahontas solve the mystery of the Moontide Glow, and complete her Friendship Quests to unlock her iconic outfit. The game also added new Star Wars costumes, including several outfits for Padme, available in the in-game store. Recently, Disney Dreamlight Valley released another free outfit that players can get immediately without needing to complete any tasks.

To celebrate the start of spring, Disney Dreamlight Valley is offering a free new outfit called “Spirit of Spring.” Players can get it by redeeming the code “SPIRITOFSPRING2026” in their in-game mailbox. The outfit is a flowing green dress inspired by plants and nature, and players are encouraged to add their own accessories to complete the look. Keep in mind that some in-game codes only work for specific characters, so try the code on each of your characters if it doesn’t work at first.

Players have pointed out a striking resemblance between the new ‘Spirit of Spring’ outfit in the game and the character Spring Sprite from Disney’s Fantasia 2000. Spring Sprite appears in one of the short films within this classic 1999 animated movie. Many fans are excited about this nostalgic addition to Disney Dreamlight Valley, and are glad the developers are referencing beloved Disney films. Players are now speculating about which other classic Disney movies might inspire future content in the game.
Following the start of the Springtime Floating Festival in Disney Dreamlight Valley on April 29th, a new set of outfits has been released. This special event lasts for nearly three weeks, ending on May 19th, and offers players puzzles and quests to complete. Participating earns players rewards like furniture and unique clothing. While only three out of six puzzles are currently available – with the next launching on May 3rd – there’s still ample time to finish the event and collect all the rewards.

Okay, so the new ‘Whispers of the Wind’ update has added a lot to the game, but it’s also stirred up some debate. A lot of us are feeling uncomfortable with the inclusion of Pocahontas, mostly because the Disney movie doesn’t accurately portray the real Matoaka. Some are even worried about the possibility of John Smith being added too, which would be even more problematic. Honestly, it’s up to Gameloft to decide what they’ll do. But on a brighter note, we’re all super excited for Hercules to finally arrive in Disney Dreamlight Valley sometime in summer 2026!
