A typical mission in Vultures involves selecting an agent, entering the city, finding a target, and extracting them using whatever means necessary.
Even a quick look at screenshots for Vultures reveals a strong influence from classic PlayStation 1 survival horror games, particularly Resident Evil, as the developers themselves acknowledge. The game not only looks like those older titles, but also plays similarly, featuring limited resources, frightening enemy designs, and puzzles that block your path – all hallmarks of the early survival horror genre.
Although Vultures – Scavengers of Death looks and feels a lot like Resident Evil, its battles play out differently. It borrows elements from strategy games like Final Fantasy Tactics and XCOM, where players and enemies take turns moving and attacking.
