This spring season has a lot of exciting new anime, but Witch Hat Atelier is really shining as a standout series.

As a huge Xbox fan, I’ve gotta say, stick drift has been a real pain this generation. I’ve personally gone through about five controllers already because of it, or other problems, and it’s something I hear about all the time from other players. It feels like we might have to wait for the next Xbox to see a truly fixed controller. Thankfully, some awesome third-party companies are trying to solve the issue now with their own controllers, which is great to see!

Storytelling and cultural tastes have evolved dramatically in recent decades, going far beyond just how things look. A plot twist or joke that once felt fresh and innovative can now seem overused or even cringeworthy to newer audiences. Whether it’s outdated visual styles or a lack of diverse representation, older films and shows can be difficult for modern viewers to enjoy.

Blizzard quickly gained traction with Overwatch in 2026, launching the highly popular Reign of Talon Season 1 update on February 10 to widespread praise. Now, Overwatch is continuing that success with Season 2: Summit, which launched on April 14.

Steam recently offered the horror game Chamber Survival as a free download. Players navigate a terrifying room, searching for clues and solving puzzles to escape. Microsoft’s subscription service removed 28 games in the first three months of the year, with almost half of those leaving in January. However, the latest batch of removals was much smaller – only Mad Streets and Peppa Pig: World Adventures were taken off the service at the end of March 2026.

The comic series Absolute Batman offers a unique take on the Batman mythos. It portrays Bruce Wayne as a working-class engineer who grew up with characters like Killer Croc, The Penguin, and The Riddler as friends, while The Joker is reimagined as a rich and powerful villain. This version of Batman focuses on Bruce Wayne’s skills and determination without relying on expensive gadgets, and it’s become incredibly popular with fans. Now, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is adding this grounded version of the hero as a playable character, with the original creator, Scott Snyder, giving his approval.

Rumors and leaks about the new Pokemon Winds and Waves games should be taken with a grain of salt, as they depend heavily on where the information comes from. The source of this particular leak, a Twitter user called BallGuy, hasn’t always been accurate in the past. However, before the official announcement of the next Pokemon generation (Gen 10), BallGuy did share a post from 4chan that correctly predicted the starter Pokemon. With so many false rumors circulating at the time, it’s possible BallGuy simply got lucky, or that they had some genuine inside knowledge.
