Pokemon TCG Pocket recently announced some good news regarding its Pack Points. Players can rest assured that they won’t lose any Pack Points they’ve already earned. Since launching almost a year ago, the mobile version of the popular trading card game has been incredibly successful. Pokemon TCG Pocket quickly gained a large fanbase, attracting millions of players and releasing several exciting expansions. Now, The Pokemon Company is providing more information about how the Pack Point system works.
Pack Points are a way for players to get cards they haven’t randomly pulled from Pokemon TCG Pocket expansion packs. Every time a player opens a pack in Pokemon TCG Pocket, they receive 5 Pack Points, which can be used to redeem any card from that set if they have enough points. Importantly, Pack Points can only be used on cards from the same expansion they came from-each set has its own separate Pack Point total. A recent update now provides a useful safety net for players who are collecting Pack Points.
Pokemon TCG Pocket announced an important update on their official social media channels regarding Pack Points. They confirmed that any Pack Points you earn from certain sets in Pokemon TCG Pocket won’t disappear when those packs are removed from the in-game shop – you’ll still be able to use them to get cards. The Pokemon Company also acknowledged that the in-game help text about Pack Points in TCG Pocket is currently wrong and that they’re working on a fix to correct it.
Pokemon TCG Pocket Shares Information About Pack Points
News regarding Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s Pack Points arrived shortly after the mobile game launched its latest expansion last week. The Deluxe Pack ex expansion primarily featured reprinted cards from older sets, many of which received updated artwork or full-art versions. Along with this focus on reprints came a note explaining that cards obtained from Deluxe Pack ex wouldn’t contribute to completing the original sets they came from. This expansion also included smaller packs, containing only four cards instead of the usual five.
The Deluxe Pack ex’s collection of reprinted cards is starting the celebrations for Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s first anniversary. TCG Pocket will officially mark one year since its launch around October 30th, with many exciting events planned for the mobile game. Pokemon TCG Pocket will host several special, limited-time events this month, including a “Parallel Foil” Mass Outbreak and the release of the “B1” expansion, which introduces Mega Pokemon. Pokemon TCG Pocket players have a lot to look forward to as the game enters its second year.
