Strategy game fans have a lot to look forward to this week! We now know when Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II will be released, and we’ve gotten a detailed look at the leaders in the upcoming Modern Naval Warfare game. Plus, there’s new downloadable content available for both Hearts of Iron IV and Total War: Warhammer 3.

Total War: Warhammer III – Bhasiva Faction Announced

The wild cats of Bhashiva are now fighting alongside Cathay against their enemies, led by the powerful White Tiger, who is a new playable character in Total War: Warhammer III. This downloadable content adds new ways to play the campaign, including the Armies of Shang-Yang and The Tiger Court. In The Tiger Court, the White Tiger will make important decisions that affect the faction’s direction and overall strategy, and several new military units are also being introduced.

Warhammer 40,000 Mechanicus II Launching May 21st

2026 is already shaping up to be an amazing year for strategy game fans, and we’re not even halfway through it! Big titles like Star Wars: Zero Company and the Game of Thrones strategy game are still on the way. On the 21st, we’ll be getting Mechanicus II, another highly anticipated release. It’s called Allied Operations – Italy: Vol. 1 and it lets you take command of the American and British forces as they first invade Italy. It’ll set you back $14.99. And get this – the main Panzer Corps 2 game itself is 60% off right now, only $15.99! Seriously, if you’re into wargames, I can’t recommend this enough. It’s easily one of the best ones to come out in the last ten years.

Starship Troopers: Terran Command New DLC Will Have a Campaign, After All

Slitherine recently announced a new ‘Eradicators’ DLC for ‘Starship Troopers: Terran Command’ (which is a fantastic game!). They didn’t initially mention it would include a complete 10-mission campaign where you help Doctor Kraush with his research on Planet Ghutana. The campaign utilizes the game’s Territory Mode – you’ll gather resources and use them to improve your units and build defenses. Plus, the DLC adds 10 new units that you’ll unlock as you progress through the campaign. It’s great to see this RTS game continue to thrive and receive new content.
