Five games will be removed from Xbox Game Pass today, including the popular puzzle game Planet of Lana. With these removals, a total of 44 games will have left the service in 2026.
Xbox Game Pass had a large number of games removed on April 30th – nine titles in total, including Citizen Sleeper, Revenge of the Savage Planet, and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Another, smaller group of games will be leaving the service later today, May 15th, around midnight in your local time.
Planet of Lana Leaving Xbox Game Pass After Nearly Three Years
Okay, so a bunch of games are leaving Xbox Game Pass soon, and it’s a bit of a bummer. They’re taking out Planet of Lana, Go Mecha Ball, PAW Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship, Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo, and Galacticare. Planet of Lana was actually on Game Pass since day one back in May 2023, so it’s been around the longest. After that, Go Mecha Ball and Galacticare have been available for about two years, which feels like a good run, but still sad to see them go!
According to data from players, it takes about five hours to finish Planet of Lana, which is good news for anyone wanting to earn all the achievements before it’s removed from Xbox Game Pass. PAW Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship is similar – you can unlock all 17 achievements (worth 1,000 Gamerscore) in roughly four hours. PAW Patrol was added to Xbox Game Pass in February 2026 and will be leaving after a little over three months.

Gamers and critics seem to be enjoying the games leaving digital stores on May 15th. Galacticare, a quirky sci-fi hospital simulator, leads the pack with excellent reviews. Planet of Lana, a puzzle platformer, and Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo, an adventure game about the afterlife, also received high scores. Overall, this group of departing games is well-regarded, despite being smaller than the last batch that left on April 30th.

Xbox Game Pass will lose five games on May 15th, bringing the total number of games removed this year to 44. Fortunately, eight new games have already been added, and five more are confirmed for later in May: Forza Horizon 6, Beastro, Echo Generation 2, Crashout Crew, and RV There Yet. We can expect even more announcements around May 19th, when Microsoft will likely reveal the full lineup of games coming to Game Pass in May 2026.
