The latest update to REPO Cosmetics introduces vehicles, making it much easier for players to navigate challenging maps. These new ‘Semiscooters’ significantly change gameplay, particularly for teams needing to quickly transport loot or regroup after being split up. Currently, players can choose from two vehicle types: the Scout and the Hauler.
The Scout generally costs between $18,000 and $24,000, and the Hauler is typically priced from $38,000 to $48,000, with prices varying based on what’s currently available in shops. Both vehicles allow players to travel across maps significantly faster than on foot, but they run on batteries and can be wrecked if they take a lot of damage in the game.
How to Get and Use the Scout in REPO
You might find the Scout for sale in the Shop during any playthrough, but it appears randomly, just like other items and upgrades. It typically costs between 18,000 and 24,000 credits, making it more affordable than the other vehicle currently available in REPO.
The Scout is ready to drive right after you buy it and is built for fast movement. It doesn’t have any room to store items, so it’s all about getting around quickly. People usually use it to check out risky areas, find the best way to escape, create distractions, or quickly move between places with valuable loot.
As a Scout main, I’ve found that I really shine on maps with those long, straight hallways or big, open spaces. My speed is a huge asset there, letting me zoom around and get the jump on everyone!
You can use the Scout to lure monsters away from teammates collecting valuables.
How to Get and Use the Hauler in REPO
You can also buy the Hauler from the Shop, but it’s much pricier than the Scout. It typically costs between 38,000 and 48,000 credits, meaning most teams will need to complete several successful extractions to afford it.
The Hauler differs from the Scout by offering a secure storage compartment in the back, capable of holding valuables worth up to 20,000 total. Teams can quickly deposit items into this compartment, allowing them to transport loot safely without having to carry it all. Plus, the Hauler can be pushed directly into the extraction zone, making the process much safer, especially during intense situations.
For teams that prioritize consistently meeting goals, the Hauler is usually a smarter choice in the long run. And if you already have enough transport carts, the Hauler can significantly improve how safely you move valuable items on risky maps.
How to Repair and Recharge Vehicles in REPO
Vehicles in REPO are easily damaged. Hitting walls, falling, going through dangerous areas, or colliding with monsters will drain their battery and cause damage. The Hauler is more durable than the Scout, but both will explode if their health reaches zero. Before exploding, there’s a brief delay, and the explosion causes a lot of damage to anything nearby.
I’m so excited about this new truck! It’s amazing because we can actually fix and recharge our vehicles right inside it. The best part is it uses these incredible Energy Crystals to power a charging station, so we’re always ready to go!
If you ride scooters often, it’s a good idea to carry extra batteries, particularly for longer trips.
FAQs
Can vehicles fly over pits in REPO?
No. Despite how fast they move, both the Scout and Hauler fall into pits like normal objects.
Which vehicle is better in REPO?
The Hauler is generally more practical due to its storage space and toughness, but the Scout excels in speed and exploration.
Can vehicles damage monsters?
That’s right, but it’s mostly effective against smaller enemies. Boosting your speed increases the damage you deal when you collide with things, but hitting bigger monsters head-on can still be risky.
How do you recharge vehicles?
You can fix and recharge vehicles inside the truck using Energy Crystals at the charging station. It’s best to repair any damage as soon as possible, rather than waiting until your vehicle is almost broken.
