As a huge Zelda fan, I’m so excited for the new release coming on September 17th! Zelda is Nintendo’s second most popular series – only Super Mario beats it – and it’s given us some truly incredible games over the years. I mean, Ocarina of Time is still considered one of the best games ever made, and it’s probably going to stay that way for a long time considering its Metacritic score!
While Ocarina of Time remains a fan favorite, several Zelda games have come close to surpassing it. Breath of the Wild received widespread praise and is ranked among the best games of all time, and Tears of the Kingdom followed with an excellent 96% rating, landing it in the top 30. Tears of the Kingdom offered a new level of freedom for players, which greatly appealed to fans. Now, those who loved Tears of the Kingdom have another game to look forward to, releasing on September 17th.

A new amiibo figure based on Mineru’s Construct from Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be available starting September 17th. This amiibo is impressively detailed, a good size, and features poseable arms. It works with multiple Zelda games like Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, giving players random items when scanned. In Tears of the Kingdom, it also provides random items, but its biggest benefit is unlocking a unique design for Link’s paraglider. The Mineru’s Construct amiibo will be priced at $34.99.

Mineru’s Construct Isn’t the Only New Zelda Release Coming This Year
Collectors of amiibo and dedicated fans of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom might be excited about the new Mineru’s Construct amiibo, but most fans are really hoping to hear about the next Zelda game. Reliable leaks suggest that game will be a remake of Ocarina of Time, though Nintendo hasn’t officially confirmed this as of yet.
As a huge Zelda fan, I’m really hoping we’ll finally get some news about the Ocarina of Time remake during a Nintendo Direct in June – that’s what the rumors are saying, anyway! If it does happen, I’m already predicting they’ll release amiibo figures for it, which would be amazing. We’ll just have to wait and see, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some big announcements soon!
