It’s Official: PS Plus is Losing One of Its Best Games in June 2026

In June 2026, PlayStation Plus subscribers will no longer be able to play at least five games. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members experience changes to the game library regularly, with new games added and others removed to make room. This happens whenever PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium is updated with a new selection of titles.

Looking at the recent PS Plus Extra and Premium update, seven games were added to the Extra tier and one to the Premium tier – a total of eight new titles. However, eight games were also removed on the same day, meaning subscribers didn’t gain or lose any games overall. We’ll have to wait and see if the June 2026 update follows the same pattern, but we already know at least five games are scheduled to be removed.

List of PS Plus Games Leaving in June 2026

  • Lawn Mowing Simulator
  • LEGO The Incredibles
  • Red Dead Redemption
  • Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition
  • We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie

Ugh, as a PlayStation Plus subscriber, I just found out some games are leaving the service on June 16th! We’re saying goodbye to Lawn Mowing Simulator, LEGO The Incredibles, Red Dead Redemption, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition, and We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie. They haven’t said if any more games are going, but it’s possible! If you’ve been wanting to play any of these, you definitely need to jump in ASAP while they’re still available on PS Plus!

The biggest game leaving PS Plus in June 2026 is Red Dead Redemption. This is the updated version of the classic game, offering improved performance and features for modern systems. It’s widely considered one of the best games ever made, so if you have PS Plus Extra or Premium and haven’t played it yet, make sure to do so before it’s removed on June 16th.

It’s disappointing that Red Dead Redemption is leaving PS Plus, but there’s some good news! The newest update added Red Dead Redemption 2 to the Extra tier. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a massive game with a huge, beautifully detailed open world, a compelling story with memorable characters, and a robust online multiplayer experience. Having Red Dead Redemption 2 available should soften the blow of RDR1 leaving, even though it would have been great to play both games on PS Plus for a bit longer.

PlayStation Plus will be getting new games for Extra and Premium tiers on the same day some titles leave, and we expect to learn what those games are around June 10. Before that, PS Plus members can find out the free games for the Essential tier in late May (May 27), with those games becoming available on June 2.
