All Choices & Consequences in Batman Telltale Episode 3

Choice Decision (A) Decision (B)
Save Renee or Harvey [Travel to Renee Montoya] (Renee remains as a cop, and Harvey is okay, but he kills someone in self-defense and doesn’t like Batman.) [Travel to Harvey Dent] (Harvey is okay and likes Batman, but Renee has lost hope as a cop and quits.)
Keep Composure or Punch Oswald Sorry, my mistake | Pick that up | … (Bruce graciously leaves Wayne Enterprises without drama and gets to take Alfred’s gift with him.) [Punch Him] (Oswald and Regina call security and kick Bruce Wayne out of the building.)
Lucius Fox Stays at Wayne Enterprises or Works at the Batcave Be my ally at Wayne Enterprises. (Lucius Fox can’t work on Batman’s equipment, but he can spy on Oswald.) Come work for me. (Lucius can make gadgets and repair the Batsuit, but can’t spy on Oswald.)
Romance Selina Kyle [Kiss her forehead] | This is nice. (These options will allow Bruce and Selina to have a one-night stand, and Harvey accuses Selina of cheating on him.) You have the wrong idea… (This option makes Bruce reject Selina, but he still stays the night, and Harvey still accuses Selina of cheating.)
Wear Down Harvey or Beat Him Up [Wear him down] (Bruce refuses to use violence against his friend and manages to snap him out of his episode.) [Beat him up] (Bruce uses violence to stop his friend, who calms down and leaves.)

Should You Save Renee Montoya or Harvey Dent?

  • [Travel to Renee Montoya] | [Travel to Harvey Dent]

The Gotham City Police Department is stretched too thin, and Commissioner Gordon needs Batman’s help. A police officer is caught in a dangerous shootout with the Children of Arkham at a construction site. Meanwhile, Harvey Dent is being pursued by the same group in a car chase, and Batman faces the impossible task of being in two places simultaneously.

I recommend prioritizing Renee Montoya – she’s a valuable officer who needs immediate assistance, and the Batmobile can get to her faster. The GCPD can handle the situation with Harvey. Rescuing Montoya will gain us an ally, and while Harvey did kill someone in self-defense, he appears to be coping okay.

Choosing to save Harvey Dent leads to Renee Montoya leaving the police force, and another officer being taken hostage by the Children of Arkham. This path is taken by roughly 39% of players.

Should You Punch Oswald Cobblepot?

  • [Punch Him] | Sorry, my mistake. | Pick that up! | …

Okay, so things are seriously messed up in Gotham. The Penguin – Oswald Cobblepot – has basically taken over Wayne Enterprises, kicking Bruce out as CEO! He’s been trying to get Bruce to react, to show something, but nothing was working. Then, he did something really low – he messed with a gift Alfred gave Bruce. That finally got a rise out of him. It’s getting personal, and I have a feeling things are about to explode in the game.

I held back and didn’t react to Oswald’s provocation. Bruce understands that losing control would only make things worse – it would bring security down on him and get him kicked out. So, by remaining calm, he forces Oswald into an uncomfortable situation as he awkwardly accepts the gift.

If you kept your composure when provoked, you joined 68% of all players!

Should You Let Lucius Fox Stay at Wayne Enterprises?

  • Be my ally at Wayne Enterprises. | Come work for me.

Now that Bruce Wayne has stepped down as CEO of Wayne Enterprises, he’s lost his direct influence over the company his father created. This also cuts him off from inside information about what someone like Oswald Cobblepot is planning. On top of that, he no longer has Lucius Fox’s expertise to rely on for Batman’s gadgets and equipment.

I figured it was best to keep Lucius at Wayne Enterprises as an ally. Batman needs someone he can trust on the inside to watch Penguin and make sure he doesn’t use the research and development department for evil plans. Sure, having Lucius work in the Batcave would give us even cooler tech, but honestly, Batman doesn’t need fancy gadgets to deliver justice.

Should You Spend the Night With Selina?

  • [Kiss her forehead] | This is nice | You have the wrong idea…

Following a fight with the Children of Arkham, Batman is injured. Catwoman saves him, taking him back to her apartment and caring for his wounds. While there, the romantic tension between them builds, giving them a chance to explore their feelings for each other.

I developed a romantic connection with Catwoman after her relationship with Harvey Dent ended. It was a deeply passionate and human experience, something Bruce struggles to find with others. Selina is one of the few people who knows Bruce’s secret identity as Batman, and she uniquely understands the excitement of his double life.

Choosing any of the options – “You have the wrong idea…”, “Please stop.”, or “We shouldn’t do this.” – will end the romantic scene, but it won’t affect your eventual relationship with Harvey Dent. If you chose to romance Selina, you made the same choice as the majority of players – over 90%!

Should You Stay Hidden or Come Out of the Bedroom?

  • [Stay hidden] | [Come out of bedroom]

Bruce is making bagels with cream cheese for breakfast at Selina’s place when someone knocks. Selina quickly hides him in her room, and when she opens the door, it’s the new mayor, Harvey Dent, who wants to come in.

I tried to stay out of sight, hoping to avoid having to explain what happened the night before. But Selina’s cat kept exposing me, making me come out of hiding anyway. So, my attempt to stay hidden was pointless.

Should You Beat Up Harvey or Wear Him Down?

  • [Wear him down] | [Beat him up]

Harvey’s condition causes him to switch between two distinct personalities, and this happens when he sees Bruce and Selina partially dressed. He immediately becomes irrational and tries to hurt them both. You then have to make a tough decision about how to handle him: try to exhaust him through a prolonged fight, or quickly overpower him.

Honestly, I really appreciated how Batman didn’t just beat Harvey Dent. As a fan, it felt so much more in character for Bruce to wear him down mentally, instead of resorting to violence, especially since Harvey was clearly struggling. It showed that Bruce believes he can handle things without punching his friend, and that felt like the right move – a breakdown isn’t something you solve with fists.

You and 84.7% of players refused to attack Harvey!

Should You Go Off-Script on the Teleprompter?

  • [read] I’m voluntarily stepping down. | I’m being forced to lie!! | This isn’t voluntary. | …

Bruce is preparing to step down as CEO of Wayne Enterprises and publicly announce Oswald Cobblepot as his replacement, following a prepared statement designed to improve public relations. Bruce now faces a difficult choice: prioritize the company’s well-being or attempt to discredit Cobblepot before he gains too much influence.

I chose to simply read the script. Trying to reveal the truth about Oz won’t work, and no one would believe Bruce Wayne anyway – they’d just think he’s a bitter, wealthy man lashing out. Ultimately, whatever happens, the story will unfold the same way, and this choice won’t affect anything later on.
