On June 5th, the electronic music from Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on a physical soundtrack called Cyberpunk 2077: Future Sound of Night City. Released by WRWTFWW Records, this is exciting news for fans and collectors who want to own a piece of the game’s unique atmosphere. While the full tracklist is still under wraps, the release promises to capture the vibrant energy of Night City, the game’s fascinating metropolis. This soundtrack offers a new way to experience the world of Cyberpunk 2077 even if you’re not currently playing.
Despite a difficult launch, Cyberpunk 2077 has become a celebrated open-world RPG and has inspired many other games and stories. CD Projekt Red has expanded Cyberpunk 2077 into a large franchise, including anime, books, and collectible items. A major reason for its continued success is the game’s distinctive art and sound, which create a truly immersive world. The studio is working with partners around the world to showcase and celebrate these artistic qualities that have resonated with so many players.
A Sonic Dive into Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City
Future Sound of Night City dives into the unique electronic music – often called ‘Polish beats’ – that brings the game’s gritty city to life. This soundtrack powers the intense action and creates the dark, neon-lit atmosphere of the world. Created by Rafal Grobel and Wojciech Sokół, the album is a fully immersive experience, reflecting the realistic and often harsh lives lived in the shadows of towering buildings. If you’re a fan of darker, industrial sci-fi, this music will connect you directly to the emotional core of the city.
As a huge fan, I’m so excited about this new release! It has 22 tracks total, but how you get them depends on what you buy. The vinyl and CD versions have 15 songs, and then you get the other seven as digital downloads. If you’re like me and love vinyl, this three-LP set is gorgeous – it’s pressed on bright yellow vinyl and plays at 45rpm for amazing sound. It comes in a really nice, thick gatefold sleeve and costs around $53 (or €45). If you prefer CDs, there’s a ‘Super Jewel Box’ version available for about $23 (€20).
To make this release special for fans, the album is being sold with clothing inspired by the world of Cyberpunk 2077. A popular item is an “Arasaka” hoodie, available in red, black, or gray, with detailed logos printed on the back and sleeve. It’s made from a very thick, high-quality fabric and designed for a comfortable fit. For a bit of fun, there’s also a limited-edition “All Foods” trucker hat with the logo of the game’s famous food company. You can purchase these items individually or as part of a bundle, with the most expensive package costing around $135 USD.
