More information about the upcoming game, Assassin’s Creed Hexe, has surfaced online, including a leaked image and details about a new character named Wolfgang. Ubisoft has a history of leaks, but May has been particularly active for Assassin’s Creed Hexe, with a known leaker named Rogue reportedly receiving takedown notices on Twitter and Discord for sharing information. Another source, xJonathan, has also revealed additional details about the game.
As a big fan of Assassin’s Creed, I follow a lot of leakers, and Rogue and xJonathan are two of the most talked about. Honestly, though, xJonathan tends to be more accurate with his info. That said, nobody’s perfect, and even xJonathan has been wrong before – Ubisoft actually said some of his AC Invictus leaks looked like they were made by AI! So, while I trust him more than random sources online, I always take everything with a huge grain of salt, just to be safe.
Brand New Assassin’s Creed Hexe Leaks
Before his account was suspended, a leaker revealed several details about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Hexe. They shared that the main character’s name is Anika (previously known by the codename Elsa, similar to how ‘Hexe’ was a codename for the game itself), that the game takes place during the Wurzburg Witch Trials between 1625 and 1631, and that gameplay will heavily feature blood pacts, poisons, and a unique parkour system involving trees. The leaker also mentioned that characters in the game will be more aware of their surroundings due to the setting, and that Anika is related to Claudia Auditore, Ezio’s sister, potentially linking back to Ezio’s story within Assassin’s Creed Hexe.

xJonathan has shared a leaked image to support these claims, though it was quickly removed. The image seemed to be a dark, cinematic screenshot of an assassin sneaking through a forest, deliberately obscured to hide any recognizable features. xJonathan also suggests Ezio will appear later in the game, possibly through flashbacks accessed via memory discs or Isu technology. Despite my confidence in the team at Ubisoft Montreal and the developers of Assassin’s Creed Hexe, I’m still worried about bringing Ezio back. His story feels complete, but if the new character, Anika, is connected to him in a logical way – perhaps through memories or ancient technology – it could fit within the game’s established world. After all, Ezio communicated with Desmond even after his death, so it’s not entirely far-fetched. However, a good plan isn’t enough; the game needs to be well-made, and fans will have to wait and see if it delivers.
