All Kormos Strengths, Weaknesses, and No Evidence Tells in Phasmophobia
Okay, so as a fan, here’s what I’ve figured out about when that creepy Kormos starts chasing you. Usually, it’ll come after you when your sanity drops to around 50%. But, and this is important, if you sprint into the same room as it, it’ll start hunting you even if you still have 70% sanity! Knowing this is key, because there are a few things you need to be aware of when it does decide to hunt you down…
- Kormos is completely blind, so line-of-sight means nothing.
- Kormos relies on sound, so it can detect your movement from very far away.
If you’re trying to figure out if a ghost is a Kormos during a no-evidence run, the easiest way to check is during a hunt. Simply stand perfectly still and quiet in a hallway, with Incense ready to use. If the ghost targets you, it’s not a Kormos. But, if it walks right past without noticing you, then it is a Kormos!
Generally, ghosts don’t notice if you move slowly while hiding. However, it’s crucial to stay completely still when facing the Kormos. If the Kormos sees you, it will quickly increase its speed to 2.21 meters per second, and can even reach a top speed of 3.65 meters per second. Here’s how far away the Kormos can detect you:
| Movement | Detection Range |
|---|---|
| Crouch Walking | 10 meters |
| Standing Walking | 15 meters |
| Sprinting | 30 meters |
